Actually it was arranged that all artiste lip sync so that they (the stadium) can control the quality of the music coz this is a very big event and they are concern about the effect of space as well. Though i dun support this kind of thoughts but Jay Chou CAN sing very well in real life.

Well it's hard to explain...how about...JAY uses different types of tech...to write his music...his music are like traditional, rock, rn'b..etc...type etc...

I believe one of the most important contributions Jay Chou made was 'basically' mixing both traditional chinese and contemporary pop, r&b and hip-hop sounds to create a uniqueness in his music. He has a lot of pop tracks that have intros with a traditional chinese feeling, mostly possible because he uses traditional musical instruments as well.

One good example is Jay Chou's - Qing Hua Ci 青花瓷 , it's worth listening! =]
