Ronnie Aim, also had a tragic ending. He died when his van (a VW camper type with no bonnet) hit a stray cow on a straight bit of road.
I believe he was the leader of the Orkney Strathspey & Reel Society for a time.
I have always loved the Strathspey & reel concerts in days of old.

Oh wow, what a gem this is. As Robbie said a tragic story and a very fitting tune. Graham, this is another masterpiece, well done and thanks for sharing.

Many thanks Maggie, I've loved the tune for years.
I love the way you've done this. What a lovely tune, very sad story, and of course played from the heart.
