My god there were a lot of botches in that match.

Although it was a nice match to watch, apart from Mercury's face getting smashed in.

Adding ladders to the spots always steps the level of danger up, like Kendrick's Shiranui. He landed straight on his head because the ladder moved as he was pushing off, and didn't get enough rotation.

Joey Mercury was with the SES in WWE for a while, he is recovering from a torn pectoral. Paul London and Dave Taylor are both wrestling the indy circuit.

@VampyrSpike I wish they kept hold of London and pushed him a bit more as a singles competitor, I loved watching him on Velocity (With his awesome Pacman attire, lmao.) But after watching the Highspots Londrick shoot, and seeing London wish Vince dead, I realised just how much they really didn't get on.

But saying that, I just miss the cruiserweights in general. It gets rather same-y seeing the top guys essentially putting on the same matches.

I agree with you on this being a brutal match. I also think that this was one of the best ladder matches in the history of wwe/f. Just look what happend to Mecruy and his nose. A CLASSIC.

Totally! Sorry for the slow reply, been a bit caught up in other vids lately! There is the potential for some truly epic ladder matches now that superstars like Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne (amongst others) are getting a bit of a push. Shame Jeff Hardy isn't around anymore though.

Tell me about it, although there have been some great moves in mitb, the thing I miss most about wwe is how they dropped the hardcore division. I read an interview about how if companies keep pushing the big bumps/ott stuff too far, it will only be a matter of time before we end up with another Owen Hart type tragedy. Plus it makes it more special when it does happen! Hopefully No Way Out wont disappoint! Thanks for watching!
