And yes there are mushroom biomes but they are VERY rare and I believe only found in the middle of the oceans.

If you go to the chest in the blacksmith shop, there are saplings, ingots, armor, tools, food, and sometimes obsidian

@ddavis425 yeaaaa i read about this after i recorded the video.. missed some interesting stuff there. but, when i was exploring that flat map i went to 3 different villages and looked through the buildings.. never found a chest with goodies in it. just 1 sapling would solve a lot of the issues with survival mode on a flat map.
