But I've yet to come across a Screamo band I don't like, my list right now is over 100 Screamo bands. And for others out there who are fairly new to real Screamo (2 years myself) you will also find Emotive Hardcore (real Emo), to your liking. And there's some Crust like Ekkaia, Arsen A.K.A. König der Monster, and From the Depths. And there are bands in other genres that give off that same intense passionate sensation that Screamo does in Powerviolence, Grindcore, Black Punk Metal, and more...

But I actually never thought of any genre as new screamo... Well there are so many Screamo bands. My latest favorite discoveries are Louise Cyphre and Anomie, check them out. :)

@XxAdTrFrEaKiNrOcKsXx Heh, I never knew that, that's kinda cool. I did a little research, so it was their first EP when Anthony Green (the vocalist for Circa Survive) was Saosin's singer. And he was in a band in high-school, Audience of One that screamed. Well, I still don't particularily like Saosin, or Circa Survive for that matter. When I was in high-school Post-Hardcore was mainly what I listened to, but there's only a handful of those bands I still like.

@herheartblack Orchid's a more grindpunkish influenced band, and their lyrics were more social commentaries and such than actual emotional and thought provoking stuff, it's not really meant to be considered screamo I think, because it really isn't at all. Yah know?
