  • I love the music, but it really does look a lot like Star Trek. I also think this would make an excellent PSA for LSD.

  • If it's in stereo, then the soundtrack to this was not on the Smothers Brothers, they didn't have stereo TV then.

  • Arts face is a picture of intensity at 0:11

  • Paul Simon is defo 'Feeling Groovy' here. He's blitzed.

  • Paul Simon's like "This is so GREAT!!!!" While Art is like "I hate this, lets leave"

  • I smoke out to this......

  • @markdes69 ...same here man, this is great music

  • THIS IS MUSIC.

  • Art... Don't hit the guy with your hair...!!

  • not their best song lyrically but melodically it's absolutely superb. it just breathes happiness. astounding quality.

  • The two guys at the end who materialized out of nowhere are what made this for me, apart from the song and Simon's happy faces.

  • @sugimura135 That's the Smothers Brothers

  • Art's stare..<3

  • awesome photo bombers at the end

  • Description needed!

    Thanks anyway!

  • It's too bad they made them lip synch the record. TV sucked that way back then.

  • Man, I'm feelin' groovy.

    Now beam me up, Scotty!

    Set phasers to stun.

  • thumbs up if you're feelin' groovy!

  • This is obviously a performance from the Smother Brothers show...

  • Combine Spock and Gomer Pyle then cut a couple feet off of em and you've got Simon in this video.

  • Paul looks like Maxwell Smart :)

  • I think they all smoked banana peels lol

  • is it weird that this is exactly how I imagined this song in my head?

  • Are they lip-syncing?

  • @progrockcoffee

well its a music video. so yes.

  • @nishy100 Hm. Thought it was a live performance.

  • @progrockcoffee

It could be. i find it more likely that they stage that and it's a video.. but i dno

  • ha..feelin groovy

  • The forerunner of "Shiny Happy People"

  • Ahhhhhhh snap!!!

  • We're doin good! Only 1 dislike :P

  • S&G lip synching? Rather sad given their talents.

  • The Art with the Golden Gun

  • Hahah, in the end Garfunkel looks like "Uhm.. don't touch me!"

  • What year is this?

  • @taylorg9999 It was written in 1966, so I guess it was that year or 1967...

  • @mwebber69

    Thank you ;)

  • Paul Simon is trying to block out Garfunkel.. not that long from splitting up.

  • at first when i first heard this in a store i couldnt hear real well and i thought they said beer and rufies O_O

  • Love this song woke up to this song this morning on my radio and had to hear it agane.

freaked me out when the two guys poped up. who are they?

    Love Simon and Garfunkl.

  • @ILoveMacca100 You must be young. Those guys are the Smothers Brothers. They were a comic team with a very successful variety show in the sixties. They got all the best entertainers to perform on their show, and they did political satire. They were also a folk duo in their earlier career. One brother played the straight man and the other played a more simple, perhaps mildly mentally challenged, innocent guy who always got the best of his serious older brother.

  • @jtixtlan O, you take me back! The Smothers brothers wrote so many comic/politically satirical songs. "The Streets of Laredo" ("If you get an outfit you can be a cowboy too"). "They're rioting in Africa, they're starving in Spain; there's hurricanes in Florida and Texas needs rain ... But we can be grateful and thankful and proud, for man's been endowed with the mushroom-shaped cloud." What fun they were -- along with Tom Lehrer!

  • Paul Simon is edging Garfunkel out in this song. You can't tell they're not long for this world.

  • I feel like I'm 9 years old again, lying on the floor of my parents' den and watching our old, round, black and white Zenith tv...the one where I was the "remote control."

"Go put it on Gunsmoke, son..."

  • Paul Simon is Jerry Landis since if you look at Lone Teen Ranger from 1958 you can see the resemblance in their faces. THIS IS AWSOME cause i am feeling groovy since im only 16yrs old.

  • this is one of my favorite songs, so groovy. i used it in my beach trip video, and i think everyone would really enjoy it. check it out in my channel

  • Real great song

  • The video would be better if the Smothers Brothers didn't appear on it...

  • "Beam me up Scotty."

    "I can't, you're too fat captain."

  • Simon and garfunkle are the height of grooviness

  • simon and garfunkle are the height of grooviness

  • life, I love you. All is groovy (:

  • I do believe that I've found my theme song.

  • I can't stop listening to this song, its just so happy!

  • ADORABLE

  • COLOR!!!!!!!!

  • funny as hell the smothers brothers stepped in

  • Simon and Garfunkel...A unique sound that will continue on and on.... :o)

  • Liittleton, Colorado 1972 looking down at The Hillston's walkway, noticing pebbles......

  • this song is serene makes me happy

  • lol Garfunkle.

  • The song is great ... the lip sync sucks

  • "Dr. Spock are you feeling groovy?"

"Why, in fact, yes I am Captain Kirk."

  • @jamesspeculator LOL! James, I was thinking the same thing about Star Trek!

  • @jamesspeculator Mr. Spock, Dr. Spoke was a guy who, according to his children, didn't raise them so swell. If the other Spock was so smart why wasn't he a doctor too?

  • @jamesspeculator I was just thinking "am I the only one who think this looks like straight out of an old Star trek episode" when I noticed your comment.

  • This is real Music!!!!

  • After this song I am really feeling groovy...

  • Oh man, look how young they were! This is great.

  • My God, they were so young and cute in this video !!!
