  • wonderful fingers

  • That's probably the"Leopold Auer" Strad he's playing.

  • Wonderful performances!

    Truly enjoyed, here!

    Great share, Blu, thanks!

    Bill

  • amazing, just amazing, what orchestra is this? Chigago philarmonic????

  • I saw Vadim perform Saturday night with the Dayton Philharmonic, he will undoubtedly be a legend one day.....just brilliant. ............blu.

  • Soft yet deep

    Gentle, nevertheless powerful

    Sincere yet...?

    Revealing

    Emotions of warmth

    ....Aronne

    Aaron Gluzman

  • I played this with Gluzman it was amazing

  • 'm sorry, but I prefer the interpretation of the violin anne-sophie mutter and conductor Herbert von Karajan

  • I just got home from seeing Gluzman perform Shostakovich's concerto for violin and orchestra No. 1 in A minor, it was magical, I got his autograph =D

  • What an intensely emotional, solid, and powerful performance. This really ranks as one of the top interpretations for my tastes.

  • Great player . Outstanding!

  • The conductor is really good too. His name is Gunter Herbig. I played Mahler 9 with him.

  • played for him today, he rulez. nice guy

  • too fast.

  • I went to one of his master's classes a few weeks ago. Trust me, this guy know's what he's going. Incredible.

  • *doing

  • those chords are like butta!

  • Saw him perform the same concerto with Hubert Soudant and the KBS Symphony Orchestra last month in Seoul. Great performance!

  • Gluzman rocks. I heard him fill in for Vadim Repin on the shostakovich concerto with the SF symphony and he was great.

  • I was there, too, when he filled in for Repin. It was two years ago - and still consider him the best soloist i've heard!

  • amazing playing

  • mais c'esr trop chiant

  • Vadim, fantastic as usual!

  • vry nice player

  • we went to school together at Juilliard

  • We saw him last night at The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City's 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Concert. He plays the 1690 ex-Leopold Auer Stradivarius, which is on extended loan to him from the Chicago Stradivarius society. The piece that impressed me the most and earned a standing ovation for him was Sarate's Zigeunerweisen. Stupendous.

  • I heard him yesterday in a live concert playing Mendelssohn's concerto for violin and orchestra and he played beautifully. Both like a real virtuoso and a great musician.

  • Gluzman plays with a wonderful, powerful, and authoritative sound. It is simply fantastic. He does the Barber Concerto also extremely well - beyond words.

  • Yes.

  • I see the name Ida Haedel in the tags; is Vadim Gluzman a student of hers?

  • He practised with her;)
