I was thinking of buying one but my last flat iron was plastic with a ceramic plate n the plastic burned -__- n now it doesn't heat up any more n it's ugly lol the flat iron ur using doesn't pull hair? Or have any problems with the outside like the zebra cover will it burn...?

I have the instyler but it doesnt really straighten my hair. I really think that this one might help. Im not really sure. Do you recommend it? And is the giveaway still going on? @MNMera Thanks for watching dear!! the HA3000 is my all-time fave. My daughter is using this iron still, and it's great for her. My issue is that I'm a creature of habit...lol. Loooove my hair art. That's a pretty good iron. What was your heat setting. It looks like you could stretch your relaxer for a while with it.

I have this same flat iron just a different style, I got the stand and the flat iron carry bag and some spritz spray with it for FREE....My also said turbo silk but it does not say Leonardo...it has another name on it (can't remember the name i'm at work) anyway they were sold for 150.00 for 2 so I purchased a mini turbo and a regular turbo...it looks exactly like yours..I just bought it from a booth at the mall in my town (in Houston). I hope mine is not a copy cat...but it does do very well...

@chiq2craziii Awww, thank you so much craziichiq!! Honestly, both worked about the same, but the Hair Art has been my tried and true for years, I'm not letting it go. Plus the swivel cord works...mostly I use Fantasia's IC heat protector. Check out some of my other hair videos for more tips!!

@miicakesugR Hi sweetie, the initial finished product was just as good, but like I said, for me, the hair art has been faithful for YEARS...the turbosilk is still fairly new, but again as for the outcome, yes, it was just as good.

@miicakesugR Hey sugR, I think the burning smell comes from more than just the iron. You have to make sure you protect your hair before you iron it...and if you still smell burning, it's too high. But to answer YOUR question, no, I didn't smell burning hair when I used it...even with the smoke...

some people use a hot comb before flat ironing to get close because you cant get close with a iron is that good or isi it too much heat for ones hair??

@DreamloverLambi OH WOW...that does seem like a lot of heat on your hair. I can get really close...it's a task, and takes practice, but it's possible, stylists do it!!

@509hellokitty Hi sweetie, you don't need to buy the extra accessories! I never had a holder for my other irons, it was just a nice change. You just have to be careful how you place the iron on your sink is all. Glad you enjoyed the review! Let me know how you like it if you do purchase it!

Hi! I was just wondering what do u use in ur hair prior to flat ironing it because it looks very shiny, moist, and healthy?

The heat protector i'm using now, appears to be actually drying my hair out or just simply does not work in my hair type.

@Babii2Fly Oh no!!! Does it have a large alcohol content?? Usually the first few items on the ingredients list is what's mostly in the product. I use Chi Infusion serum or Fantasia's IC serum to blowdry and the spray to flat iron...

@ajannasmom its Alcohol free it says on the bottle its the "Beyone the zone - turn up the heat flat iron protection" oh i heart of IC products, is the IC serum the one in the pink bottle for heat protection? and the IC spray is the one in the pink bottle too right?

@Babii2Fly Ok, that's good, very important...I never tried that one, but if it works for you...go for it. Yes, the ICs that I use are both in the pink bottles.
