I read online that Gianna the Monkey died a few weeks ago by eating a bad food and got very sick while staying at the sanctuary. You can read about it at the Travel Channel forum. If that is the case, that is a sad news

I look at the video blog on their site and I have learn that the monkey was place at the sanctuary. I glad she won't be on the future menu when the Machigenga decide to eat her when she get bigger.
