  • nice video. /watch?v=GVXCr6upWUo&feature=related THUMBS UP PIRATES!

  • Well, I'm doing piracy as an assessment and I'd like this as a special feature in the presentation (it's on powerpoint). I'll be sure to reference you ;]

  • @jessirosee Awesome, good luck! ; )

  • hey, i was wondering if I would be able to use this in an assessment for my IPT class? Copyright issues and all that xD

  • @jessirosee No worries! I can get a better quality version for you if you like. This one is shit... What do you need it for?

  • gtfoh

  • That ginger guy is possibly the best actor i've ever seen, where'd you find him?

  • Yeah, heaps of people have asked about the ginger guy. He just turned up on the day, I don't even know him. He was in my fridge looking for food and I just asked him if he wanted to be in a small film. He agreed to do it if he could have some of the left over chicken from the previous night. Too good to pass up.

  • yeah, i get it..im planing to make a movie with many cams rolling one scene all together..till now i used max 2 in one scene. but its hard when u dont have a high budget, and mine is none.. xD

  • Same here man. My budget was the $20 gas money that I paid Nick (the lead actor) and $2 for some makeup. Other than that it was a $22 movie. We won the film festival with it too. If there is one thing I have picked up it is that you honestly don't need a whole lot of money to make a film look good. Just one decent camera, some committed actors and a story.

  • man that was great!!! i was really suprised how good it was recorded..and nice acting btw..so, how many cameras did you use for the film? becouse im into trash movies and im always happy when i see someone else's movies like yours.

  • Thanks man. We used one camera, but obviously there were several takes from different angles etc. This was filmed over two weekends because of the locations' distances and all that jazz. I am glad you noticed the acting too, that's always a good thing.

  • Epic.

  • Thats Great. very funny and great action. MAKE MORE VIDEOS GUYS

  • Thanks a lot man. I appreciate it... In terms of the film production, editing, camera work, sound, visuals, writing etc. etc. Renovatio Pictures is just me. My name is Nick Garrett. I go to the University of Auckland, studying... Film, Television and Media of course. But as you know the actors make the films what they are. Besides the guy playing Statham, (Nick Gray), the other actors are all mates. Mates who are thankfully keen to be in my movies. Nick is studying acting.

  • Haha! That sounds like I meant Nick wasn't a mate... Sorry, I am tired. What I meant was, he is the only guy actually involved in acting professionally.

  • Next up is the 48 Hour Film Festival, are you guys doing it?

  • haha cool cool. I hope to be doing 48hrs. but i wont be doing it with my usual crew. I'm studying Film and TV at the New Zealand Broardcasting school this year. so a group of us are plaining to enter.

but yea since leaving High School ive just been so busy with my course to make anymore films but hopefully that will change soon enough

working with a Professional actor must be good.

  • Sweet as man. Actors can just do whatever is needed, which is cool. Unfortunately though he is off to Wellington next year so I will have to find someone else. Where is the broadcasting school?

  • well 48hrs went very well for our team, we managed to do a rather good "Romance" what genre did you guys get?

  • That's awesome man. Well, we got the dream genre, 'The Conspiracy Movie', however it didn't really turn out the way we wanted it to. We were all first timers so the whole experience was fuckin' challenging. It is supposed to be a piss take of the genre but it may come across a bit dark. Who cares, we got it finished. Did you go all out... ie. the full seven minutes? Compose your own music etc?

  • we went all out, the film was 6.35 with a few secs of titles ontop of that, we are all very happy with it. but yea we where all first timers to the comp, we had a MINT weekend tho,

this video is getting coments when it shouldnt lol

    u have facebook?

  • If you do Jason Statham, you must end up with a crisp white ironed shirt and a tie. And of course the shirt should be buttoned up. Nice abs though...

  • Hah that was awesome!

  • Ahh! Another great film by Nick! 5 stars :)

  • Thanks man.
