You can see in the video he is gesturing "3" many times. Moreover, in Star Cricket, there was an interview of Kapil (which I saw) where this incident was put forth to him. He replied there too, that, he addressed Peter to stay inside the crease 3 times and he just shrugged his advice everytime. The third time he lost his cool and gave Peter his marching orders.

You can see in the video he is gesturing "3" many times. Moreover, in Star Cricket, there was an interview of Kapil (which I saw) where this incident was put forth to him. He replied there too, that, he addressed Peter to stay inside the crease 3 times and he just shrugged his advice everytime. The third time he lost his cool and gave Peter his marching orders.

i disagree, it was really bad sportsmanship from kapil, he should not have warned three times, instead shud have appealed the first time itself, just like any SA or Aus bowler wud have done.

@bofursgun thats not bad sport, thats perfectly legal. Do you not know the laws of cricket? And he warned Petersen three times. If you ask, he shouldn't have waited that much, should have got him the 2nd time itself. What did Petersen think he was doing? Did he think that he wouldn't be noticed by the bowler? or the umpire?

Take it easy. In my original post, I was not aware that Dev had warned Kirsten (not Peterson) three times. Upon discovering this, then I look at it less harshly. Please see my follow up post.

i was just critisising kapil for waiting until third time for taking kirsten out. an SA or Aussie bowler wud have done that in the first time itself. and Aussies and SA are the best gentlemen and having high sportsman spirit,right? so we should do what the best people do. so kapil did was wrong.
