The PS2 is still the best as always and I still own a PS2 with a lot of great games for it too. Sometimes though when I do play my PS2 console and if I'm playing either PS1 or PS2 games on my PS2, I sometimes get a feeling that I feel like I may be playing something that seems outdated now. Sometimes I do get that sort of feeling whenever I play my PS2 system or if I'm playing either PS1, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, or Game Boy Advance or something. Nevertheless though, the PS2 is still amazing.

The PS2 is still the best and I would like to try to stock up now on most of its accessories such as a few more memory cards and an extra controller or two including some of its games that I still don't have yet too before the PS2 does officially become discontinued. Once the PS2 does become discontinued sooner or later, you won't be seeing too many of its games and accessories around much anymore at most stores including possibly even GameStop and that'll stink too when that does occur.

That'll be a shame if the PS2 ever does get discontinued sooner or later and I've heard that the PS2 has been around now for 12 years already. That's even longer than the lifespan for PS1 since the PS1 lasted for 11 years according to Wikipedia. I guess PS2 must still be very popular and that could be why that it's still around even today. I've also heard that the next upcoming game for PS2 which will be "Major League Baseball 2K12" may possibly be the very last game released for the PS2 too.

Again, the PS2 is such an amazing game console and it's still one of the best video game systems ever of all time too. I still have an old PS2 console and I've had my PS2 for almost nine years now already. It's so great and I do have a lot of great games too for my PS2 that I still enjoy playing every now and again. The PS2 never gets old. It'll be a shame though once Sony finally does discontinue the PS2 sooner or later. That's going to stink. I wish the PS2 would still stick around longer.

In my opinion, if Sony ever releases the PS4, I hope it can play PS2 games on it. That would be so great. It's a shame though that PS2 games and accessories are not compatible on current PS3 models and that stinks too. I think Sony should either release another new model of the PS3 that would have backwards compatiblity with PS2 games again or if they release the PS4 in the near future, they should include PS2 backwards compatibility on it in addition to playing PS1 and PS3 games too.

I do have a PS2 console already, but I may think about getting another one sometime if they're still available just to use as a backup in case if anything ever happens to my old PS2 and that I would need a new PS2 to play all of my PS2 games again. I do have two PS3 models as well, but only some of my PS2 games are backwards compatible and it's only on one of my PS3 consoles.

I don't real like playing through a long story game. the only thing I basicaly liked was the big maps to skate around and adding ramps in certain spots during career mode. But my favorites are THPS1 and THPS3 because of the soundtracks. Especialy THPS3.
