noticed how u rly like macro's, i advise u shud macro heroic strike to bladestorm. it wont cost more rage if you dont have it to spare, and if u do, ur damage will go up.

That isnt an AddOn. It can be toggled on and off from the WoW interface menu.

The ability bar addon, however, is bartender.

You said prio Overpower over Execute , i wouldn't because sudden death can proc by executes so it can self proc making 2x execute in a row , but using overpower can proc a sudden death you already had and you'll lose an execute

this video is actually outdated now with the changes to execute in patch 3.2...this video was made patch 3.1...there will be some things in here that arent the best way to maximize it with the changes in 3.2, but most of it is still good to go

but...the reason you should still prioritize overpower over execute (although I understand your argument and it is a valid point) is because Overpower is the most bang-for-your-buck move you have. They also crit almost 100% of the time (from talents+gear), so you'll guarantee to keep your enrage buff intact. Although execute is a great move, you need to utilize overpower every time it is up in my opinion.

Due to the nature of when you can use op, it makes it an easy ability to "sit on". once taste for blood procs, whether you use it right then, or 5 secs afterwords wont make a difference because the other one can't happen until 6 secs later. sudden death isnt like that. anytime you spend sitting on it is more oppurtunity for the buff to overwrite itself which is a waste. Execute>overpower>MS>slam. Also, even if your op was your only attack that crit, you could stil sit on it and keep your enrage.

If you used execute twice in a row from doubled sudden deaths, it is likely that the second execute would only do near base damage since the first would consume a lot of rage, which would make overpower + execute stronger in terms of damage than execute + execute. Also bare in mind you only have 6 seconds in which to use the overpower before the buff resets from rend damage so there is a danger of wasting an overpower chance there.

Now dont get me wrong, with perfect rotation of both fury and arms (ive been warrior dpsing sence 04') I was able to put up 6kdps with Arms (Safe # for all 10 man TOC/ 25 man TOC Bosses 5/5) and i deal 7-8k Same bosses, same buffs, Best gear available (Character = Nàzgul)

Ive done my 1h Fury Pve Spec in 25 man ToC for one week so far and Was able to pull 6kDPS and its FUN~!!

yeah to be honest i dont even know the numbers you can put up with TOC+ gear...ive been doing a lot of job stuff and haven't been able to really play since right before the ToC patch release...also the mechanics of Arms have changed since that patch apparently, and the gear itemization has changed, so I'd have to do more experimentation once all this stuff is done with (so i can finally get back on lol)...thanks for the comments!

I am a raid fury warrior and i would have to say that over all of my testing ive found that Fury is ALOT better dps than arms. With arms you get some amazing single target dps and some great critical strikes. But when it comes down to it, fury deals more damage and deals it faster. With my current gear i am 61% Armor Pen in Beserker Stance passive / unbuffed (in arms that would put me at 77%?) ive tried it plenty of times due to my dual spec being arms pve/ fury pve. Its not even close.

You're right that Fury scales better than Arms, but not to a massive extent. The difference you're noticing probably has more to do with skill than anything else, Arms is a lot harder to get used to, Fury is faceroll by comparison.

i personally find fury to be incredibly boring to play. It's "arguable" that fury scales better than Arms, but I still believe that if you play arms well, you will have fun and still put up competitive numbers :-)

I only use HS when i have 100 rage else it's just a rage dump, you always wanna have rage for abilitys so you're pretty right about HS

i wanna say 5018 from the video (hard to make out and it's been a while/my gear is better now). Keep in mind I also was on magnetic core duty on phase 3, so it's not a very good reflection of what you can put out

yeah ICEhud is pretty interesting...your rage bar is considered your Mana Bar on ICEhud. If you shoot me a message, I'll help you out in more detail on the subject (if you haven't figured it out yet). I just don't have enough characters available to do it here :-p.

what's your macro that's on the bottom bar between rend and slam? seems to be another instant cast you use. i trying to get used to arms =( fury will always be remembered for its DPS =P

My main is a DK and im quite interested in your addon NeedToKnow, but before i download it i was wondering, does it work for DK's aswell? Or only for arms warrior?

NeedToKnow works for any class. It is essentially a buff/debuff tracker. It can track buffs/debuffs on you, as well as buffs/debuffs on your target. It is fairly easy to use, but if you have questions, shoot me a message. Thanks!

The Addon is called NeedToKnow. It is my absolute favorite addon, because unlike some addons which kinda blend in to the user interface, NTK sticks out like a sore thumb, allowing you to easily keep track of it. It works not only with rend, but other debuffs like hamstring/MS/etc for pvp, and even buffs like hysteria, battleshout, trinket procs, etc.
