@urbex2007 Other than my Nutella Cake in a Mug, this is one of the best things ever. Seriously. I make these often. I also make the bacon/egg/cheese muffins a lot too. Nice and compact and ready to eat on the run.
I am always short of time in my mornings and usually do not have time to make myself anything decent to eat for breakfast, besides the usual coffee and honey bun (yuck) but I came across this and decided to try it out. To my amazement it worked out great! Thank you very much for the lovely video, cheers!
hahahahaaaa this vid has everything! easy egg dish, adorable Tiny begging for ham, and baby Bain! i will end my mini marathon here because now i am starrrrving! :) i will marathon again soon!
LOL! I saw those paws creeping up into the bottom of the frame. Saying no is not in the program. Cosmic will often just sit there, all perfectly posed and prim and proper, looking up at me with those big gold eyes, and waiting. And waiting. And staring. And he KNOWS I'll eventually fold. The little shit.....
I don't think I've ever nuked an omelette. Might have to do this for grins. Doesn't it stick all over the inside of the cup?
Aw, Tiny was in there meowing for some ham!! :(( Made me sad.. OMG, look at Bain! I forgot how mohawk-y his hair was! haha
So how did you like the omelet in the cup? I've made them before and they are OK in a pinch and in a hurry, but no way compares to on the stove! :)) I loved that you put ketchup on it! haha
@mysteryglo you are right--nothing beats it in a skillet on the stove, but these are good for in a pinch!! I had to make sure once I started editing that I didn't watch to much ... didn't want to cry. 11 months she is gone and I still miss her
I totally forgot to tell you how delish the omelet looked. I will have to try that out on the 95yr old. He likes omelets especially ones with ham and cheese
OMG! how did you keep from eating that child for dessert?? Too sweet and so cute. I have a beggar in my galley too. Bubby would come running when he heard the electric can opener. Now that we have pull tabs, he flies into the kitchen when anything is popped open. And do not open a deli rotisserie chicken if he is within 1 sq mile ! he yowls until we give in He will be 13 Thursday (Cinco de Mayo) and still acts like a kitten.
My Haley loves deli ham she will bug me just like Nohea was doing you. Was this a tasty recipe? Would you make it again? Look at Bain makes me want to kiss them sweet cheeks.
Boy, Tiny was yelling at you to give her more turkey and give it to her now. Bainy was yelling at you that he wanted Aunty Beth to pick him up and show him Yoda and I'm yelling at you that I love these oldies. Too cool Beth! Thank you.
Oh Nohea, too sweet. I got so confused for a minute there, I thought you had named your new baby Nohea also but then baby Bain made everything make sense. I hardly ever read the descriptions these days unless somebody tells me to in the title of the video. I love eggs and ham and cheese and green peppers. And salt and pepper. ;)
Awww Bain is so cute i like the name i wish i thought of it my son is fifteen months now and is called Auden he was born five days after my birthday can't wait for the parcel to arrive quite excited :)
I know exactly what Bain is saying,"Hi Youtube." He is precious!!! I love the eggs in the microwave. I dont do mine in a cup, I use a regular sized bowl, sort of like a Tupperware bowl. Do everything you do and when its done, its the perfect size for a piece of bread, for a sandwich. ;-)
I do this in the mornings sometimes with canned/drained black beans, turkey, cheese and sometimes cilantro. It's a quick and easy breakfast =D -- thanks again for the video!
we got one way early, my grandfather worked for an electronics company so we got all the cool stuff first. looking back at pictures of us all in the kitchen it is funny to see how massive the microwave was. same with the vcr granpa got for us, it weighed close to a ton :)
I was in a hurry so I also made egg in a cup ^^. Thank you very much for shareing!
ThaAngelKiddy 1 week ago
Cover the top with saran wrap or something else and it will cook a lot faster. Cooking eggs in the microwave is all about steam.

This is sooooooooooo yummy! Thank you for the great idea!!!!!
tacostotherescue126 2 weeks ago
I tried this without ham and peppers, just put loads of cheese in. I was eating it drving to work!!!
I did get a few funny looks at traffic lights when I was putting a fork in my cup which was in a cup holder.
It calls for extra concentration, but what a great idea.

Don't forget it continues cooking, especially if you stir it and mix up the heat.

I know how persuasive they can be, but ham is bad for cats because of the preservative used. Try giving him something else if he's craving ham.

@anmoose The cats have us literally by the short hairs. TOO cute to ignore. For long ;)
You spray the inside of the cup with Pam so it shouldn't stick. It's a fun little thing that makes kids think they are totally cooking ;)

i still make this for orion on our mornings that are behind on time and he makes it for an afternoon snack
we do not use the microwave much but some times it is a god send fo sho
