I think it's really cool, but full-motion simulators don't simulate attitude, they simulate forces. So you lean forward when you're decelerating, in order to make you feel like you're straining against your seatbelt. And it leans back when you're accelerating down the runway, to make it feel like you're being pushed back into your seat. A real simulator rolls back and forth as you wiggle the rudder pedals on the runway, to make it feel like you swerving left and right.

Force, not attitude.

I really feel like its a choreography. As tv and machine pre coordinated and you'r trying to follow though with joystick.

Your joystick movements don't seem to reflect exactly what the plane is doing, in or out of the virtual flight.

Hehe :) This looks nice, but it doesn't work how it should work :) The frame motion shoud simulate forces - not pitch, roll :) When you fly in real aircraft and don't see outside, you canť know in which position you are. You feel only forces and you can be upside down and you can feel like on ground in normal position :)

OK, but I don't understand how did you send motion data from the game to your motors on the frame, does your game have that option, or you programed it somehow?!

Second thing, you have a cable from computers serial port to the frame, but where on the frame did you plug that cable, did you build your own interface that controls the motors, or I'm just stupid?! :)

The game data are captured from the game using special software that also does some math with them and then send this data on the serial port (its called x-sim2 motion control).

The hardware interface consists of a "basic stamp2" microcontroller board, two HB-25 DC motor bidirectional speed controllers, and two potentiometer fitted on the frames for position feedback and finally two motors, one for each axis.

LMAO, my wiper motors barely push my wipers. how in the world did you find ones for this frame? You do need to make one that goes inverted, just use a harness to strap yourself in, hell you build this one using wiper motors, I'm sure you can figure something out =-) The squeaking though...anyway I don't care if it has a small monitor or doesn't go inverted 10/10 that is awesome

Not much. The MS Flight simulator has the limitation to stop the game motion output exactly the second you crash the plane. Its more amusing to crash a car in LFS driving simulator...!
