This is ridiculous, the ppl who are like "My choir was better" this isnt a competition! its a group of students performing something they worked hard on! Who cares if "your soloist was better" or "your alto part was louder" this is THEIR video of THEIR hard work and effort. the comment section is not the area to boast and showboat. Just watch the damn video!!!
You've got a nice voice, sir. Very young and round and full. I like how you hit the last note so well (I'm assuming you're a Tenor?), it sounded so nice. Excellent job.
thanks for all the feedback guys. its been a little over a year and id like to think ive been getting better. one things for sure, it only took looking at this video once to drop that bad habit of singing with that whiney "ee" syllable, ha. and im more of a baritone than i am a tenor mrsstar. i cant really hit those high notes without belting like that :/
It 's most definitely not supposed to be slow. They did it perfectly. I'm learning the music right now in choir, the notes are sticcato. Short and choppy. They did everything right.
I didnt copmose this, but the notes ARE sticcato. That's how the song was originally composed. The audience was laughing cuz the soloist did a funny pose. They werent laughing at their sorrows. This group did a fine job.
hey dog. i sing the exact same solo, im from lakes high school. well. ill put one of me online. but ive got some things to say. you had a good ending but through the solo you endend the phrases to quick, and its very nasally. maybe if you pull your tone back a bit and use taller vowels. idk. just trying to help. but yeah. nice try on the solo. cuz im not an expert, just trying to help
