  • at Saturnineanodyne, I am pretty sure your a good bird mama. My bird did the same thing, not only a new home, she had two brother birds waiting for her. People need to do research before bitchen over nothing. lol

  • sooo cute ^_^

  • thats cute

  • thats awesome

  • That's so adorable! But, um, I think Charlie's a chick, man.

  • give it some more sleep. needs at least 10-12 hours of sleep

  • Man, I miss my Cockatiel... lil bastage used to be my constant companion at home... even took showers together lol

  • aww so cute

  • for the first 12 months baby cockatiel look like females untill they first molt in a year. Then you can tell which is which by the patchs on the faces the bright ones are the females the darker ones are the males but even then people make mistakes in sexing them so the other way is the calls the birds make

  • that's a girl, not a boy

  • errr im pretty sure thats a female?

  • @CheekyBullets It's a chick, you won't know untill after it goes through its first moult and grows in it's adult plumage wether it is male or female. With the pied, lutino and other variations, it's too hard to tell. Wait a couple of years and see if it lays an egg or get genetic testing done.

  • aww :')

  • 20 People have no soul.

  • Aww... bless his lil heart... Reminds me of my cockatiel.. which flew away from him ='( still searching for him. their a lovely breed

  • Oh, I am soooo happy to read the comments. As precious as he looks, I was concerned that he was sick to be so non responsive. He is a sweetheart, I bet..... :)

  • i have a 6th month old cockatiel he wont sleep and we just got him yeasterday if u could leave a comment on how you get him to sleep now it would help alot! btw his name is ( UNO)

  • @how131 Let him pass out on his own. Let him get used to his new home. He'll get in to a rhythm and will sleep when its dark or when he get tired. You wouldn't sleep if you were in strange new surroundings and didn't know what in the heck was going on, either.

  • aaaw, he is so adorable <3 :) and if anybody takes a better look at him definitely can see that he's a male because of those red spots....males have stronger red marks than females

  • MY COCKATEIL WAS ALSO CALLED CHARLIE! But he was yellow. He lived for 19 years.

  • @filmflipful i have a 19 yr old pied tiel, do you know how long they live for?

  • @chutchybo My vet said that Charlie was the oldest she had ever seen, but as I understand it, they can live for many more years. :)

  • Poor sweety, I know it's scary being in a new home. I'm glad to hear Charlie is doing well. :)

  • Why ARe You Trying Waking Up Yor Bird " Leave The Bird Alone Please Leave Him Alone"

  • poor cute little bird.

  • Sooooo Cute i have had a cockatiel for 11 yrs now a boy they are a hand full but so much fun and his favorite food is Mashed Potatoe

  • Awww...poor little darlin'. He needs to go beddie-bys.

  • Aww he's soo sleepy haha

  • I wish you retards would read the frigging description.

  • HAHAHA cute!! hey what age is he?? (Plse see my vid of our cockatiel) I think ours is young as his heads only starting to become yellow. Reason i ask you is Ive seen some males here with very yellow heads, yours looks like ours..not so yellow but definitely not a female bird.

  • exactly like mine but mine does it for other porpuses like stop the other from eating

  • Charlie Sheen ZOMG

  • LoL !

  • awww he is to precious!

  • So sweet <3

  • I was just waitin for him to fall face first into the bowl lol

  • poor thing, mine were stressed out too the first couple of days

  • you idiots cant read the description.... this is why I ALWAYS check the description b4 I CRITICIZE a person that you THINK has a sick animal on their hands and wont do anything about it.

  • Aww poor little guy. A new home can be very scary. At least he got some sleep after a while. He was such a cute little baby. :3

  • THE most exciting thing

  • Lol, when I first got my cockatiel he slept in his bowl. Now he's okay, has a mate, and 7 children lol(no joke lol).

  • Thanks God for My daily bread n My cup is overflow zzzzzzz. zz.. Amen.\m/

  • @richiesaw

hahaha... lmao dude.. you rock !!

  • lol my cockatiel is called charlie too

  • 17 people are assholes

  • @mouse264 lol like justin bieber 

  • It is a baby :]

boy though if you read the description

  • he was up parting when you were sleeping lol XD

  • My cockatiels needed a long time to get used to the house. I read that when they fluff up theyre plumage (you know, when they look really "fat"), it surely means that they are accostumed to theyre surroundings. Mine tends to fluff up a lot nowadays

  • With their funny personalities, rosy cheeks, & big feet, they're adorable feathered clowns!

  • Hmm this explains why my conure took frequent naps when we first got her!

  • So adorable !

I could spend hours simply watching my birds (I have a cockatiel and a budgie) and videos like this one ! Those little creatures are just so wonderful, and sometimes seem so 'human' ...

  • @Elissea i can not agree more!

  • Hey, do you remember how his poop looked like during those 3 days?

  • @katybooth boy cockatiels look like girls when they're young

  • @MsDragon10000 Just like humans! :D

  • because this cockatiel is still a baby it is hard to determine wether its a male or a female. Although judging by the colour of the orange cheeks. It looks more male. The males have much brighter faces. The females tends to be more dull in colour. But still the cockatiel is still too young to know. Mistakes are often made at this age and you normally cant tell til its older

  • @XRaquelleXxx I do have to add here that my pied tiel female was very brightly cheeked. She was a singer too, and extremely vocal. So sometimes the only way to tell is just to get them DNA tested. I know she was female, and so I never had her tested, but I've had girls that turned out to be boys and vice versa, and sometimes the color would throw me off. Also I wouldn't ever go on who they tend to mate with. I have a six year old male that prefers males. All of his mates have been males.

  • @XRaquelleXxx Wow your stupid! READ THE DESCRIPTION!!! Gosh.

  • @TheMULTIbuds dont be so mean it was a mistake on my behalf all i was saying was that when there really young there can be a mix up I had a cockatiel and when it was a baby they told me it was male and then it laid an egg and the breeder said sometimes they get it wrong. I wasnt actually talking bout this bird specifically. If you read the description she said to keep your nasty comments to yourself. All I was doing was sharing what ive been told dont really know whats so stupid bout that?

  • I'm planning on getting a baby cockatiel from a breeder in the spring. I hope this problem won't be hard to solve.

  • what a cutie!

  • This cockatiel is a girl

  • @katybooth Read the description :

"3. He is not a female. First off, all baby cockatiels have the stripes on the tail and look very female (at least the normal greys!) until a certain age. He was breeder proven, DNA tested, and if you saw/heard him today, you'd know he's male!"

  • Awww sweet boy!

  • LOOOOL are you sure he aint dying ?:P

  • omg poor baby xD

  • From my observation, since have had two cockatiel, and taken care of many more for neighbors, this bird is NOT Traumatized. my bird has done thisbefore and she usually did it because she wanted attention, or expected a neck rub, also, squeaky, one i took care of, he did this because he was not getting all the nutrients in his food. birds sometimes get funny after feeding them the same thing for awhile. It may simply be just tired, but birds usually sleep up and erect.

  • I love how people can judge the care of your bird and are saying you're traumatizing it. As if they know you and how you take care of him. People need to stop wasting their time spouting silly nonsense and leave you alone. What a sweetheart, my bird has the "new bird blues" right now, so she'll adjust soon.

  • this is just too cute

  • cutie

  • aaah Cute

  • My cokatiels' name is charlie to and does that to only mine is a boy he is so affectionate

  • @airkool90 If you own cockatiels then hopefully you have spent a lot of time watching their crests and what their crests tell you. Crest completely up=scared. Crest down with the tip sticking up=calm. When they pan to the side you can see that the crest is down. Also, even an exhausted baby that couldn't keep it's eyes open would have kept one eye on the item that was "traumatizing" him if he was so terrified, but when the camera moves he doesn't move an eye to look at it. Hardly traumatized.

  • i like to do that too when im sleepiy (and eating)

  • bless him - Ignore the nasty comments - my 3 hate change and every time i move it takes them weeks to adjust to their new surroundings - they are very hyper and alert and once settled , resume into a more regular sleep pattern

  • Wow are u rely blaming the owner for not rushing him to a hospital when that behavior is completely normal? But adorable bird!

  • ok i need help wit this, my Cockatiel is exactly the same as yours. But from what I read on the internet it's a female (I'm new with cockatiels's ^^) .....? :/ please help me....

and btw mine did that too when we first got it. =)

  • @wabisk3 if it has red cheeks its most likely a girl wait for spring see if it lays any eggs. thats what i did with my 2.

  • @davecub Lol... "Bless us O lord, for what im about to receive..."

  • @davecub

Our Millet, which art in my food-bowl

    Hallowed be thy sprays

  • @umnachtet Hahahahahaha.

  • @umnachtet ...LOL! Perfect!

  • @davecub as well all should do !

  • sweet and thanks for sharing

  • This poor bird is sick. He looks in very poor condition. no healthy bird sleeps like that.

  • @slickstrings wow.... READ THE DESCRIPTION

  • i read the description and i fuckin know what i am talking about, time to school u all in 3

    2

    1.

this bird should be covered with a blanket and alowed to sleep un disturbed. google is the friend of retards like you. this bitch puh puh puh puh it all day with her fuckin anoying voice and kept it up until the verge of passing out. fuck u all and fuck you dumbassness

  • @sheek80 If you have the SLIGHTEST bit of observation skills while watching the video and if you really did read the description, you would know the bird FELL asleep OUTSIDE of the cage. Who keeps a remote control in their bird cage? The bird would have to be awakened/disturbed to be put in a covered cage to sleep, so your argument is COMPLETELY invalid.

  • Aww, a cockatiel version of that one sleepy kitten!

  • LOL Epic fail!

  • It was so cute

  • My heart just melted

  • My heart just melted

  • @sheek80 Take a chill pill and read the description .Cockatiels are alert and stressed the first few days, and until they get used to their environments, it's not unusual. Until you've read the entire description, I wouldn't be putting up comments when you don't know the whole story. You are the ignorant one, as you did not bother to read the description when you were watching this video.

  • @sheek80 ur a ucking idiot

  • @sheek80 FAIL USER IS FAIL

  • @sheek80 my bird crashed outside of her cage, too. she was not used to her surroundings, and fell aslep while walking around. she is now sitting on my shoulder, singing her merry heart out, without a care in the world. and the lady going puh puh puh was to show that he was asleep.i will bet you $1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 that he is doing swell, and very, very happy.

  • @warofthewalruses yah lets bet that much money over htei nternet stfu

and this bitch making the sounds to wake hte bird up needs a punch to the face

  • @sheek80 learn to spell correct you bitch, and maybe I'll argue.

  • i am sorry. I read the description, but he still looks like a female! I mean, Come on! it has bars on its tail, a grey face, and looks feminine! I did read the description though...

  • aww that is so super cute! its like a child that had to much fun and falls asleep in a plate of frenchfries (my brother XD)

im glad he is ok! does your charlie enjoy showering? I have a quick question, do u maybe have a clue how to stop my aikou (female cinamon) from pulling out her down! she is horrible, she pulls them until she screams!
