  • Mmm, that tone is pure 80s.

  • SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!

  • i didnt know you could run el34's in the JCA 100HDM

  • @RowenCx4 you can't without modding it. I only ran them for a short while and eventually had some red plating issues with the tubes. Turns out, it's not safe to run without modifications (which I don't know what they are but some folks have done them on the standard JCA100)

  • Hey I really like your playing. This is a nice sounding amp,but until this amp is Made In The USA it's a no go for me.

  • @Sportsterfan68 really? that's all that's stopping you from buying it? the soldano hotrod 100+ is the USA equivalent in that case.

  • I found a program for my Droid cell phone to record WAV. files on. Which one of these would be the best sampling rate? 8000, 11025, 16000, 22050, 44100

    Thanks,

    Big Lou

  • @hawg427 44100 (44.1 khz)

  • @FastRedPonyCar Thanks :-)

  • Now that's what you should do, leave the speaker cab outside in the backyard and crank that sucker. LOL Only when the neighbors dog craps in your yard though. LOL

That sounded great. Great tone. Does the tone change much when you switch it to the 50 watt setting?

  • @hawg427 not a lot changes. mostly a volume drop going to 50 watts. tone and feel remain relatively unchanged.

  • I can't believe how good these are for the price..
