this is the most beautiful guitar playing on youtube. I just starting playing guitar last June and this is so inspiring. I hope I can be as good as you someday!
@XxEmory22xX Well, I took a class from Adam at a summer camp called the Swananoa Gathering that happens in late July in the mountains of NC near Asheville. He's teaching this summer too, I believe.
once again Josh - very well done indeed!. You play this piece with good attention to intonation and phrasing at key points. Of course the guitar helps with the overall warmth, but one has to play well to get that sweet of a sound out of the Taylor. Is that open D or a slight variation?
Very beautiful ! I saw Butler play Purdue a couple of weeks ago in Indy. I wish they could shoot foul shots with the same precision that you play the guitar...!
Josh - I have been a fan of yours on YouTube for years. I love beautiful acoustic guitar playing (I'm a huge fan of David Rawlings :-) But, I have seen your talent years ago and was just STUNNED by the beauty of your playing on this piece. You made me realize all over again what an incredibly beautiful song this is. As another poster said .. . I wish Paul McCartney could hear this. Thank you Josh !! from California
OMG Josh, that is utterly beautiful - the use of the minor discords enhances this piece in a way that I would not have believed - let's hope somebody's got Paul McCartney's e-mail address and forwards this to him - IMHO it's possibly your best yet, and using the Taylor just improves things that little bit.
Regards again from the UK and keep 'em coming please
@jaksspring97 haha its a bit of a joke. the Butler University acapella group is called Out Of The Dawg House (Our mascot is the bulldog), and they made the logo on the fleece the acronym (OOTDH) but in greek letters.
Best cover I've heard so far...I've listened to about a dozen on Youtube.

The tone on that guitar is almost as amazing as your playing. Deep, rich, velvety overtones. Love it.

@sommervilleTRS117 nope. adam rafferty won't make tabs for beatles songs, etc. because of licensing and copyright stuff.
