A great example of this is the newer Mustangs with the V6 putting out about 230 horses give or take. The 5.0 made that much power back in the late Eighties and early Nineties but it had torque and could spin the wheels on launch. The new Mustang 6's just don't want to spin the tires without a standard tranny. They don't have enough torque!

I had a lot of friends building Mopars back in the day and they were all badass cars. However the price they had to pay for high performance parts was alot more than I paid for my Nova SS.
