Sonic 3: One of the best tributes to Michael Jackson. Even much, that Sonic can do a ''moonwalk'' (''moonrun'' in my opinion xD).

My favorite part of this hack is how you can change it to your liking. A patch for the newer version, for example, allows the s3 themes to play in zones 1-6, and the s&k music in the latter half of the game. (s&k)

The only way to earn yourself a Perfect Bonus in Sonic 3 Complete is to always collect all the rings in every 3D Special Stage. This not only includes free-floating rings in the 3D Special Stage, but also rings that are generated once a rectangular perimeter of blue spheres is cleared. You’re awarded 50,000 points at the end of the 3D Special Stage for collecting all the rings, regardless of if you’ve earned the Chaos/Super Emerald at the end of the 3D Special Stage.

Love this hack. The most notable change is, of course, the areas where S&K music was used is replaced by S3's music in most cases, as well as music cue alterations. Other changes include title cards and fonts reverted to S3's, the ability to transform and de-transform from Super/Hyper on free will, new level select screen, new codes for level select, etc. In other words, this is how Sonic 3 should've been, 100%.

Within 3 minues and 30 seconds, I noticed 3 differences from S3&K.

1. Knux theme.

2. Invincibility theme.

3. Miniboss theme.

You know, I did like the S&K miniboss and Knux music better, but...I have no objections.

Well the main change seems to be the music is just Sonic 3's instead of S&K's. An I read it has bug fixes. Too bad I actually LIKE S&K's midboss theme better lol. Seems to fit better with Robotniks to me. But they made a customizable version of this too so its cool.

@Sifer2 The S&K Midboss music actually IS in this hack. It plays during the scene where Robotnik steals the Master Emerald in the Hidden Palace Zone. And because this song is in this game, it can also, of course, be played in the sound test option.

9:28--Special Stage ring just underneath this part. But if you are trying to become Super Sonic (or Knuckles) as legitimately early as possible, this is an okay skip.

Here's one difference. The midbosses keep the lovely S3 midboss theme, instead of the generic S+K one.

I have questionssss!

1. Where you get faster quicker in the special stage? The 'collect blue spheres' one I mean.

2. Will you and Marisa be doing the annotation commentary on this like you did with the Megaman 2 hacks and the MMX playthrough?

3. Will Marisa be taking control of Tails during any part of it?

1) The speed-ups are the same times.  I just know these special stages really well, so I start them sooner.

2 and 3) No. She has other things going on now. She'll probably be back for another playthrough, though...
