okay so i use easy cap to record my PS3 game-plays. the thing is when i re-watch the video that i recorded there is a problem. it starts off normal with everything good but a while into the video it slows down quite considerably and and then becomes laggy and this continues for a while before it goes back to normal, but this keeps occuring over and over again with every video. what might be the problem and how can i resolve this! thanks :D

Your a douch, a Pal-50 settings only lets you on limited games.

If you have the DC60+ you can record in Pal 60 wich allows you to record MW2 Gameplays etc.

So your EasyCap must be the 2.0 what is shit !

Did you change your input on options to Syntek (number) USB or something? Audio needs to be set to USB as well. Also, check PAL/NSTC settings! :)

Got the EasyCap today having had numerous Dazzles fail on my. I've managed to get a good quality, non-laggy ps3 feed to the pc, but i'm struggling to get a picture back onto my TV. I've unplugged the PS3's HDMI lead, which was what got me the good quality picture in the first place.

this is all so annoying... why do you need to have like millions of wires everywhere just so you can play on your tv and laptop... why dont they just make a usb thing that plugs into ur xbox/ps3 usb and it records everything. Then you take it out, plug it into pc USB and it gives you what you recorded!

You must use Usb Audio Device - not Your computer's own audio card. Check that from Ulead - Capture/Capture video/Options/Video and Audio Capture Property Settings/Source/Audio. Look more info (Quick installation, common troubleshoots, Drivers, Codecs) from my Youtube page.

Yes you do need to change your settings I'm afraid. You can't play in HDMI if you are using splitters.

Yeah that is normal. That method was an alternative if you had a TV out. Using Input won't work, hence the blank screen. You just use the normal method with the splitters etc.

Should work on both. First check that everything is connected properly, then try changing USB port. If you are still stuck come back.

um your TV should support PAL 50 & 60. It depends what you set your console to. If you have a Wii for example, you can change the settings to PAL 50 for recording.
