This movie is to me, the best adaptation of a Marvel comic because it has

1. An incredible actor, Robert Downey Jr. If you cannot tell the difference in the caliber of acting, say like Toby McGuire's Spiderman (no offense Toby) then you are not worthy to enjoy such a fine movie. 2. The other characters are excellent as well. 3. The script is extremely well done and very modern. It's also very funny and incredibly engaging. 4. The special effects are kick ass.

For me it's the combination of clever dialogues and great acting. Special effects are also very good and not overused; they only add punch to the movie, instead of having the entire movie revolve around them.

just saw ironman at the end of hulk movie. there will be a ironman 2. best superhero yet. easy to identify with. he is a regular guy who is a super tech. iron knight.

just saw it again wow!! just the sets and the hologram CAD.

Downey jr pulled it off better than anyone could have. That is acting old school. a suttle yet powerful performance. and a stage present that reminds me of when hollywood had real stars. Not the shaved chest, plastic tit and balloon lip crowd of today.

Did you even see the movie? Don't label it as right-wing. At first, Stark does seem right winged, but after an incident (not going to spoil it) his lifestyle changes, he does not seem like a Republican, instead, he even decides that he'll shut down his company, after seeing the terrors of war.

The dark knight is like 50 million times better than Iron Man, better acting (I do like Robert Downy Jr. though), just better all the way around. Iron man was pretty bad. I enjoyed it, it's not the type of film I'd want to own. I mean every action scene goes for like 2 minutes, and the beginning was pretty stupid. That's what always happens with movies with huge hypes, you get disappointed. It was okay, I guess, but how anyone could think it was better than the dark knight is beyond me.
