I've seen a few Second Doctor serials. I liked Jamie as a companion. Too bad it doesn't seem they'll release an official action figure of him. (Wonder if it would come with a swappable head as a reference to "The Mind Robber.")

I love it! It sorta looks like Frazer Hines.  The detail of his outfit was perfect down to the kilt and sporran, that bag in the front of his kilt. Have you seen that they are coming out with a second Doctor action figure? I saw it on Forbidden Planet. It looks just like him. I really wish they would make a Jamie figure. He's my favorite companion of the classic series.

Yep Character Options do most of the Doctor Who merchandising for toys etc. But they won't do companions as not enough kids will know who they are, and ultimately the line is made and aimed at kids.

I personally think the Character Options range is for all whovians,old and new and I think they should do classic companions. It would be a shame for the adult collectors who grew up watching Dr who as the years past if they didn't do classic companions. I can't imagine the Sixth Doctor without Peri!

Although I can understand where CO are coming from, I'd love to see classic companions. Maybe they should do a two pack with the Doctor and a companion. That way it would give some kids more insentive to buy them.

That's a great job you did with the Jamie action figure, but I want to point something out--didn't Jamie have red hair, not black? Despite the black-and-white photos, I think Jamie actually had red hair--I remember seeing a bit of footage from the Two Doctors and he had red hair.

His hair was a sort of a browny black. The figure has brown underneath and black ontop in order to give it that similar effect.

Thanks mate! I made the Master back in 2007. I started making Classic monsters and Doctors and then the Classics were announced! However, the figure was updated for the video as I was never happy with it but I love it now I went back into it!

what was your first doctor who figure

mine was the 10th doctor with long coat got that in 2006

My first Doctor Who figure was the 3rd Doctor from Dapol. Which I must have got back in 1996-1997. My brother had most of the previous figures, but when we went to the now closed Longleat exhibition, we saw new Dapol figures and I got the 3rd Doctor, the Master and a Sea Devil! My brother bought a video, can't remember which though!

Great custom figure! You could use the head for Adric as well. Nearly the same hairstyle. About Star Trek...maybe check out Star Trek the Next Generation with Patrick Stewart. Better special effects and good storylines. :o)
