  • Since WW II the word propaganda has been taboo. However, this term has been sufficiently defined by Jacques Ellul, et al. to suggest a central distinction between progressives and "conservatives." That distinction is between propagandists--it is a valid truism that there is no progress without propaganda--and counter-propagandists. Obscuring this distinction with the Marxist left-right dialectic remains the principle enabling progressive deception.

  • What I hate about politics is that when someone Democrat or Republican states their party they are immediately classified as a certain person, which is why the people in the white house cannot find any mutual agreements

  • I absolutely love your vid!

  • love ur vids plz do more!!!

  • Blacks began voting Democrat when JFK became president. Also, what do you find attractive about being conservative?

  • @philip0460 at the core Conservationism , at least in the leadership area is about free thinking

. the really true to the term conservatives are really funny and have a sharp wit. to categorize it's people like brookesbane, Penn , michelle malkin , and others who still aren't afraid to just speak there minds that i have the most respect for. i like the mantra of self responsibility , and hard work . and not being afraid to fail , to learn . if i get enough time off i'll do another vid.

  • @PaintMaryconley

Hmmm. I find Bill Maher, Jon Stewart and Keith Olbermann very funny because they have sharp wit and they aren't conservatives. I think Democrats more than Conservatives understand the meaning of hard work and responsibility... that's why most middle class working class Democrats hold more than one job. Conservatives are usually well to do and only care about themselves. But this is America and you have every right to disagree.

  • @philip0460 , actually i think your demographic is off. most of the dems I know are on welfare so i don't really consider that hardworking. most people can't even define what they actually believe and normally when they define it they find out that they are in disagreement with there parties actual platform , and have to re-evaluate if there actually a liberal or democrat , or just calling them selves that because it's fashionable, even though they disagree with the whole platform...

  • @PaintMaryconley

Welfare? LOL Interesting. I know of not one Democrat on welfare. I'm sure they are Democrats. But they don't vote.

  • I dont think that people who work hard shouldnt be rewarded, and I dont believe that people should get a free ride, where do you get that? ive never even mentioned obama? I do think that wealth has been accumulated over time, in some legitimate ways but in a lot of instances people who have wealth happen to be in an elite majority to acquire their wealth in the first place, so things are always going to be unfair even if you think capitalism is totally fair, thats just not true

  • @clearshquarter Oh I mentioned Obama because he's socialist.

  • What's wrong with lincoln?

  • I want to merry this woman. I love you!!!!

  • Hitler wasn't an atheist. Though his exact religious beliefs aren't exactly clear to me he frequently referred to god and Germans being gods chosen people.

Anarchy isn't safe dictatorships aren't safe.

The safest thing is placing decision making power in the hands of the most ethical smartest most researched people.

They are likely to screw up some times too.

  • im married but i love this woman lol

  • Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.

  • Liberal lies are so rampant that anything that is not explicitly conservative becomes contaminated with liberalism.

  • I'm in love. Never have I seen a smarter Femail

  • Agreed. People think of America as a straight up democracy when in fact we are more adequately described as a democratic republic. Our government was designed to be a republic: little public sphere interference, primary roles being defense of the peoples and enforcing the law. Our election process was designed to be democratic.

Plain and simple. U.S. History 101.

  • @MrBlake14 democratic republic? I thought we are a Constitutional Republic? Democratic republic couldnt exist with a constitution in place.

  • good thing I stopped watching the history channel then. AT&T decided to take it away from me unless I paid them more. Thats when I started watching Fox News. oh too bad for the liberals!

  • @dianddra999 history channel is becoming very left leaning!

  • what! revisionism on tv...no

  • So far 1:32min in I agree with you for the most part aside from the Lincoln part(I think he was legit). I think that no one party is what it was when it was founded. I think they instead should go by the following names:: Extremist 1/Radical 1, Extremist 2/Radical 2, so on and so forth. The fact of the matter is, I think the last person to come from legitimate roots in this Nation was Benjamin Franklin, he gave into just about anything even today's man can and will give into.

  • You are a smart girl! Keep it up!

  • it seems odd that you're still clinging to ideology that isn't relevant today? why should americans keep the same system forever? is that what you're suggesting? go back to the constitution in a strict sense? times change, we have to adapt and grow and learn and process our experience and rethink things... find what is truly relevant,

    i dont get it

  • because our system when implemented AS IT"S WRITTTEN works , and IS the best in the world .

  • when is the last time to read....the declaration of Independence? the Constitution, bill of rights articles of confederation, the CSA Constitution, Common Sense?

I'm sorry but again until you have a grasp of what we are fighting for. you really shouldn't even bother to comment. Socialism fails EVERY TIME.

  • its all based on money and greed... its gross... the whole idea of "best in the world" is so arrogant, who cares about being the best in the world. just because obama cares about the environment and health care doesn't mean we're turning into a socialist country. corporations will convince you that we're loosing our democracy but its only because they will be the ones who will stand to loose their totally unfair exploitation

  • you need to read up on what reagan did in the 80s, our entire way off life has been stolen and robbed by the less fortunate in other countries,

to be fair capitalism has never worked either...and you cant say that it will because its impossible to know. the same with socialism, health care is the most important thing --- how can you be against it?

  • Yeah, other than creating the most successful and free economy in the history of the world, capitalism hasn't worked at all.

  • you are Sooo ignorant it hurt sorry you NOT allowed to comment here until you read the Constitution liberal fascism and rise and fall of the third Reich.

you're too dumb for my channel.

  • @clearshquarter Socialism and Communism will NEVER WORK. Life should be based on how hard you work in life and how hard you fight. Taking away all the money from the rich people that EARNED their money is not fair at all. One of the definitions of a socialist economy is hugh tax funded healthcare, and promising social services and jobs while observing the rules of democracy. Let's see what Obama's done. I care about being the best in the world, America was the best nation and it can be again.

  • @Fallout3Follower

do you think we should take away : social security, public roads, sidewalks, librarys, schools? perfect idea! we'll all be so angry at one another because some asshole will charge someone money just to walk down "their" street, we'd all kill oursleves eventually

  • @clearshquarter And yet Obama has promised jobs and "free" healthcare, which is a joke, and obsered the rules of democracy in our republic. So you think that the hard working people that earn 250,000 or more should be taxed so much more. 250,000 is barely anything. People think communism and socialism is fair, but it's not fair at all. And the fact that people will stop working because they will get the same no matter what. Do you think we should take away hard work, dedication, and freedom?

  • @Fallout3Follower

i never said anything about communisim or sociaism, its funny that people think any thought outside of capitalism MUST be either of those two. I've always thought that people that hide being the idea of "the slippery slope" is a scared and easy way out of the real hard and complex road toward solutions. everyone just wants to swing back and forth, which isn't productive but at least you could say it keeps things balanced, not ideal, but better than one or the other, id say

  • @Fallout3Follower

i dont think that people who work hard shouldnt be rewarded, and I dont believe that people should get a free ride, where do you get that? ive never even mentioned obama? I do think that wealth has been accumulated over time, in some legitimate ways but in a lot of instances people who have wealth happen to be in an elite majority to acquire their wealth in the first place, so things are always going to be unfair even if you think capitalism is totally fair, thats not true

  • @Fallout3Follower

just as communism isnt fair, capitalism is not fair, where do we go from there? I think you have to give people who have a disadvantage a fair shot before u judge them and you have to judge people who are unethical in acquiring their wealth, its a complicated process, no word like 'capitalism' or 'socialism' is going to fix the problem

  • @clearshquarter Unethical and illegal are two different things. If it's not illegal then they can do it whether you or I view it as underhanded or dirty. I love the idea of working for a living, not given the same thing. I believe in good work ethics. Capitalism is so much more fair than communism. Words don't solve anything, hard work and dedication does. Exactly the opposite of what communism is. And I would rather have a flawed system like capitalism than a failed one like communism.

  • @Fallout3Follower

wow! the fact that you dont question the law is really disturbing to me. laws are created by people in the first place, they dont just appear out of nowhere, they are always open to interpretation and re-evaluation, in my opinion. Things are constantly changing and are never the same, the people that dont want change will eventually get fat and angry and watch tv all day long because they are afraid to leave their houses, while they believe anything our government tells them

  • @clearshquarter No there are just some things that I don't want to change such as capitalism and our constitutional right to bear arms. And this was never about what are government tells people.

  • @Fallout3Follower

again, you are assuming i think communism is the way? already ive said i dont think either one will work, why is your brain so small that you think there are only 2 options for humans to govern themselves,?? thats why i said a word or term like 'communism' or 'capitalism' wont solve anything! you're not saying anything intelligent at all

  • @clearshquarter There's nothing else between those 3 really. My brain is small? You're the one not using punctuations properly or capitalizing. Capitalism works, no doubt about that.

  • The Republican Party was created by the religious right for the explicit purpose of eradicating slavery. Abraham Lincoln was not only a great president -- he was a great man.

The Democrats are the party of slavery, secession, and segregation. Black intellectuals, especially after the 1960s, felt socialism would help accelerate racial equality, leading to a Faustian bargain that destroyed their families and communities.

  • i'll disagree with you on Lincoln himself was a progressive ,republicans were NOT solely created by the "religious right". original republicans were made up of all faiths, including no faith at all. they believed that americans were Americans. no one party is 100% innocent of civil ills. Lincoln himself screwed up as far as the Constitution is concerned he invaded the sovereign south the civil war was not fought over slavery in it's on set it was fought over capital.

  • PMC--

The religious right created the GOP as a third party since they believed they were on a mission from God to eradicate slavery. The southern states committed treason because they feared Lincoln would take away their negros. No one commits treason of tariff policy. If you read the papers of the time, you'll find secessionist agitators universally proclaiming that Lincoln and the "Black Republicans" will force their daughters to marry a nigger. This is fact, unpleasant fact, but fact.

  • . that not true at all actually .

the south NEVER committed treason they lawfully seceded, due to the northern states and the federal government of the time breaking there promise set for th by the Constitution NOT to unfairly tax and sanction them. and were then invaded by the north I'm sorry but your understanding is flawed .

  • there is far more to this then a few papers and tabloids you can find any thing written even today if you pull them up .

fact is the south abolished slavery first AND Lincoln only freeded slaves in the CSA. NOT the north or the territories .

  • the war was started over tax and tarriff and only latter on as people began to tire of the money wasted on the fight did they push slavery as a rally cry , demonizing the south .

(because the federalist , wanted more power)

were there bad slave owners? yes

there were nasty people , but as a whole it was only the coastal south that had imported Africans via ISLAMIC traders , by the time of the civil war and in the CSA Constitution. ALL slave trade FROM Africa was made illegal.

  • most of south either didn't own slaves or treated them as part of the family . the south freeded the slaves first rewarding freedom to former slaves who wished to fight for the CSA. slaves also earned a wage in the south were not limited to there plantations .

  • and it was Lee himself who wanted to do a gradual emancipation, he was and was a supporter of coming to that end in fact it wasn't that the south refused to free slaves and wanted to keep slavery .they only disagreed on the best method to do it and were already working toward that goal of freedom.

  • Lincoln didn't free the slaves and stop the practice in the united states that didn't come until FAR latter all the way into the 1900 's , the republican party may been the party to secure Civil rights . but Lincoln was not the great man history has re-written him as.

  • Excellent video, especially in regard to Lincoln and republic.

  • you were educated in the north your history is flawed , dig deeper
