109 (im actually really pissed its not 111, going to go for it another game) shooting 75%, 24 steals, in 30 minutes. After i did it, i was expecting to get the "youve completed this record" press conference...but they talked about my steals instead :(
My highest in 2k12 is 69 (lol, I know). In 2k11 I had a 127 point game on 2OT, and in 2k10, I don't remember exactly, but I was a ballhog and had between 160 and 180 points in a 3OT game. Like everyone else is saying, 49% on like, 20 shots is pretty good, but on 78 shots you should be at at LEAST 60%. Best way to do that is to make a PG, fully upgrade speed and quickness, get inside shot to 80, layup to 70, free throw to 75, then drive all game, every possession. That's how I average 39ppg 66%
@PMSolrac 49% is pretty good for scoring that many times. the result was a win over the heat in OT, and their d is pretty solid. nobody else could hit shots at all, so i took over.
@ChipDaDuck113 Yes, I agree that 49% is pretty good for scoring. Actually its pretty great for scoring on average. but to see that it was 49% out of 78 shots is pretty bad. If you had tried to rebound or pass the ball it would result in your team being able to actually hit shots, making it an easier win than an overtime
@Solitaire2654 the overall is random when first starting your myplayer (it's around 60) i think 62? it's a great game, although alot of people hate it, but most of the stuff got patched and now it's great. the new features are great! but yea, a little bit above 60 to start out :)
Man I was so pissed i was my boy Kobe in create a legend I scored 91 with 1:38 left when they subbed me out I could have beat the record shit.

@iTweetHard increasing speed is key. if i had to choose, i'd increase speed, mid range, pass (especially if you're a pg), and ball security

horrible field goal percentages for that many attempts. i'm assuming you hogged it all game long missing over half of your shots.
