love the way she writes her songs and how she composes her music. Even when you're down or if you're happy you can bet she's written a song that will have that emotion in it :) a very rare talent, and one she uses to her fullest capacity.
I am consistently unimpressed when a performer's "live" performance falls well below any online digital release. Technology can only compensate for lack of talent so much. The quality of the voice and music caught my attention, but every single live performance video I can find only serves to divulge the fact that the talent is perversely magnified surely for profit. A shame. A true shame.

Granted she's not perfect, but her voice live is still just as amazing as the studio recordings. My favorite example is her rendition of "Just for Now" for Indie 101 with Zach Braff; it and the original are so wonderful, yet stylistically different, and I love the way she can mold and create something entirely new from an already great song.

I've been raving about Immi all over youtube. You are so right. My friends don't believe me when I say she's the best thing since The Beatles. (They didn't have classical training on 4 instruments plus voice. She will prove to be one of the great ones, in the history of ALL music. She could sing opera, write symphonies (like Cumulus) or whatever she wants, cuz she's THAT skilled and veratile and THAT running over with musical ideas.

Everyone works hard at what they do, mainstream or otherwise. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone likes something. Everyone is unique. As long as people are creating, and people are loving the results, why can't we all be happy?

craziest thing just happened to me. im listening to this song because it was sugested on a kate havnevik song. so anyway it reminds me of some song ive heard befor (mind you ive never heard of this artist) so i go find the song i thot i heard which was from the holiday when amanda and jude laws character meet at a litttle bar. so that songs called let go. i listen to that and i see that imogen heap also sings that song 2.. crazy no wonder her voice reminded me off the song

I've been raving about Immi all over youtube. You are so right. My friends don't believe me when I say she's the best thing since The Beatles. (They didn't have classical training on 4 instruments plus voice. She will prove to be one of the great ones, in the history of ALL music. She could sing opera, write symphonies (like Cumulus) or whatever she wants, cuz she's THAT skilled and veratile and THAT running over with musical ideas.
She's creating her own genre of music.
