god I hate real time combat! (infinite Undiscovery and Sacred 2) I hope this is a little bit easier, because I really want this game, and don't want to pass it up just because of that! :(
okay i really didnt like magna carta 1 tear of blood ( due to the crappy battle system with all the freaking timing. ugh it reminded me to much of Shadow hearts & i beat those games but i got annoyed of battle system) But Magna carta 2 battle system seems more like FF 12 ( which i did enjoy that game) except the overheating thingy. but this seem very good. iam just glad it isnt like the first game. XD it would be more epic if it was Online gameplay aslo. i would totally get a party going ^_^
with the blu ray capabilities, they could make an rpg thats 200 hours long if they wanted too.... i mean disgaea 3, beating it 100 percent and getting the secret caracters, or building your charis up to level 9999 can def take that long. to beat disgaia 1 100 percent, beating all optional bosses took me about 150 hours... and thats just a ps2 game (psp as well)

I think it takes longer to develop games for the ps3 because of the blue-ray capabilities or engine. Unfortunately, that means rpg games for the ps3 will take longer and the xbox360 will get the games quicker. i honestly love the ps2 for all the rpgs they had and I thought ps3 will be the same but it doesn't have any quality jrpgs yet and the price is too high for having nothing that i desire. I got xbox360 from my brother and I'm loving the amazing rpgs on this console. TOV and MC2 are great!
wel the PS3 price dropt i dont know if you heard, and in the long run the PS3 is always cheapest, free online, out of the box wifi, rechrage remote, and the Blue Ray is the superb champ when it comes to gaming on a console specialy for RPGs. They are just rushin games for the money i gues but if they take there time to creat superb looking RPGs with somthing like the Cryengine 3 on a Blu ray it would be not only D best looking but D bigest game you will ever play on console.
Now seeing an rpg w/ cryengine 3 would be one of a kind game, question is who will be the developer? Usually ppl stick w/ what they love (ie. Final Fantasy) and compare it to other games (like magna carta), which I think is pointless, but if a good dev. team make a game that can show that games could be better overall than FF, and on top of that doing w/ cryengine 3, then that would hopefully change ppl's mind towards this genre.
