I do agree with you, he cannot sing. He cannot sing if we were to compare his singing to R&B, Jazz, or other types of music genre. But we're not. It best to remember that. True story, I literally knew nothing about BelO when I stumbled upon your comments about him and his music last week. True story again, after reading them, I actually looked him up, listened to his songs, read several articles about him, and let me tell you that your comments are totally, totally unwarranted. It would appear that the previous user was right when he said that you were a "Hater", I really think you should embrace the terminology, it suits so you perfectly...

Young buck I will match my music IQ against yours any day. I got college degrees to back up my statements and their validity providing that we are discussing music and not TASTE. You are free to like whatever you choose to, but one thing I learned in music school, and at the University level is that the fact that it transcends and is accepted doesn't make it good. Ask any vocal coach about this guy and ask them if he can SING,-not HUM, SING- see what they tell you. Im just a hater who has taste.
I do agree with you, he cannot sing.But the only one good thing about him,his lyrics are good other then that--he can't sing....But i do respect him for positive thing he wanna do represent Haiti,and also believe in his dreams--and i think that's why people like him cuz he do have a positive lyrics that's about it.
Belo is one of the few Haitian artists who has real music banking him up. He has a distinct voice and has the potential of being global. Overrated? He's not getting enough praise as it is. If you're hearing so many great things about him, it could be that he is that good. Just because you can't here it doesn't negate the fact.
this dude is SO SO SO SO Overrated. I have no clue what he does or has done that have earned him all these accolades. He CAN'T sing in all honesty, can barely hold a note. So far he is not deserving of all this fanfare he is getting
