Do you have to cut the deck exaclty in the middle for the riffle shuffle so you have 26 face up and 26 face down like you had?

I tried with 27 - 25, and also worked, but is it also secure when you have not exactly two halfs shuffled together???

My spectator's a douchebag. She shuffles them multiple times. What can I do to avoid this without simply shuffling the cards myself. Is there a specific wording that makes a person more prone to a single shuffle rather than being like "Hmmm...she wants only ONE shuffle, eh? She must need this in order to perform the trick correctly. I SHALL FOIL HER MAGICAL PLANS!" Is there a backup trick?

You have to use the wording "you can make as many cuts as you like" as cuts don't allow for multiple shuffles.

@HoshiHikari The best then would be to have 2/3 sets of cards prepared like that. When she shuffles too much, you will do another trick with a card forcing. Then you proceed with a new deck, and do the same thing. If she says why a deck change, you say, fine then you can take a new deck and do it over. After that one, you change and make a 3rd trick. Or, you assure that after the cuts, you tell to cut in half and turn over then riffle. It's best to do with someone you don't know...

Amazing Trick. Did some experimenting because I thought it didn't work all the time...but it does. if it doesn't you probably did a mistake (like i did)

If you're having trouble with the 3rd prediction start with it as your first. Put the first 13 cards down and I guarantee they will be A-K. To tie prediction 2 into this add 3 cards down; these 3 plus the previous card from the A-K prediction will be one of each suit. Magical

That shouldnt happen. When you prepare the deck like he told you, all cards are alternating black and red. And a black top card comes to a red down card or otherwise round.

When they cut the deck whereever they want, the different top and down card get together and two other different couloured card from the middle become the new top and down card!

ok the way i like to do this is to write down every prediction and i never touch the card (except for doing some false shuffles.) and have them flip as someone else reads off the list.

Originally, I thought it was the change of light refraction when he moved the cards closer to the camera, however, it stays yellow after 4:59.

is there a mistake? you did 4 times for the red and black part and 4 times for the 4 shape part and lastly 2 sets of ace thru king. If you calculate, it doesnt add up to 52 cards ( a full deck) !

4x2 + 4x4 + 13x2 = 50!

I need help with the Gilbreath Principle..I tried making it work by starting with 2 piles of ace through king and shuffling them together, but the result was all mixed up, what did i do wrong? I tried reversing the order of 1 pile and it still ended up all mixed. whats the best way to duplicate it and see it in action? help please...thanks!

It does work with the Si Stebbins Stack. Check the way you're stacking the cards. With the Si Stebbins Stack the cards go King face up on top down to Ace, THEN you move the Ace to the top of the first pile.
