I love to watch the way how DADGAD guitarist accompanies the melody. Plenty of difficult figures following one after another in few seconds : D Great video!
I just started learning this. And actually just stumbled upon you when I was looking for accordion players. I'm from New York, but I have tons of family in Ennis.
@sniperv25 Hi. Ya I play in DADGAD tuning, it's a lot of fun to mess around on. The Ovation is a Custom Legend, it's not the loudest but sounds great and plays really well. Thanks for the comment man!
@diddlyi1 - You can find us playing in Cruses pub, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland most Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays under the name "Socks in the Frying Pan". Call in any time and join us for a tune!
the both of you are wonderfully talented, it is a pleasure to listen to this. I hope one day that you will re-record the Bucks of Oranmore as it is a perfect tume for ye!
@kingkong0100 sure no prob its a kincora made by martin connolly here in county clare.they're a great box-fantastic balance to it.google kincora accordions and you should get something about them.i would definately recommend one anyway. Thanks for the comment!!
@sjphayes7 thanks mate, I was over for the fleadgh in cavan this year at the scóil Eisge ( music school ) and happened to come across a kincora, while paddy king was teaching me a few tunes! Lovely box, very fast and good tone. Couldn't get ahold of one due to high prices and got a second hand cairdin but thanks all the same lads!
Fantastic ! I was born in the wrong counrty ! I play Hohners one and 2 row, kinda- can you advise what key[s] your box is in? I think my next box should be a b/c but I have a c/g Hohner already... Thanks Garry.
Im playing a B/C Kincora made by Martin Connelly in Ennis Co.Clare...they're a fantastic box...the B/C is probably the most dominant tuning for irish music accorsions although you'll see a lot playin C#/D also...glad you liked it thanks for the comment!!!

How much would a kincora cost?. I noticed yours seemed to be far sharped, than other kincora accordions, which sound more like a lazy paulo soprano.
Great playing and keep it up.!!!!!!
