  • @Goatoftheforset Here: Take this 1tone heavy package of cookies. You are the first one who isnt racism against germans under a Youtube video :D

  • no thats 1250 rpm ish for sure = light bolt

  • think this is actually with the heavy bolt.limits fire rate to 950rpm, hard to tell though. doesnt sound quite mg42 'bbrrrrrr!'.

  • why was the 1st m60 so shit when they nicked ideas from this and made a new gun.

  • @26wordy because american companies weren't able to produce a clip of such quality.

  • Unless it a gun nut ur not going to do auto fire.these are mainly to keep the enemies heads down.do firing in bursts is the efficient and economical way.othe wise u wasting 800 rounds in a minute.if ur advancing then ur not gunna advance very far in a minute are u even if ur ussain bolt

  • @SuperVeshi

Yeah, unless a horde of bears are advancing upon you, full-auto isn't very useful.

  • So that is why Germans don't retreat. They can't hear their commander. :)

  • @xXskaterdudeXx111

You only shoot it in burst, otherwise its a waste of ammunition. The cyclic rate is usually only used in emergencies.

  • @mossbergmaniac1947 oh right thx for the information. I was kinda confused.

  • @xXskaterdudeXx111 Not only is it a waste of ammo but the barrel can melt

  • @ComradeStrelok

That's what barrel changes are for.

  • RIP his ears!!

  • What's this vid really about? Isn't tis just a rechambered MG42? Why so much interest? - Interested in the gun myself, just surprised at the approach. Was expecting a firing range rather than kids in fatigues.

  • Wow whata bunch of pussies. Why they afraid to fire that shit?

  • Best weapon ever made

  • @MegaGronis true that

  • Okay, serious question. What are the MG3's flaws? There must be a few if this hasn't been universally adopted.

  • @NobodyHereButUsTrees it kicks harder than chuck norris if that counts as a flaw

  • @NobodyHereButUsTrees The FN MAG is the other 7.62 NATO firing GPMG that is really widespread and it is a very good gun as well. The choice between the FN MAG, MG-3, PKM, or whatever was almost certainly one of politics/finances as in terms of performance they're all pretty stellar weapons, which is why they're still being used many decades after being invented.

  • @NobodyHereButUsTrees I've used it a lot during my time in the Danish army, it's a very reliable weapon, never failed me, but as bopcr says, it kicks like a god damn horse and you see a lot of machine guns today with a lot less recoil. IMO, 'The saw' as it's nicknamed, is one of the best machine guns you can get if mounted, on foot it's too heavy

  • Its easy reason because is base at best mg-34 and mg-42.When look closer at m-60 you can see some part of gun are almost same.Quality of german weapons is amazing.

  • I was waiting for fully automatic shot :(

  • @mzahmed95 It's the Military...

  • @mzahmed95 Full Auto is all I hear

  • im sorry, but im not big on my gun smarts..does this gun use a disentigrating belt or not?

  • @TheGears999 yes it does

  • @SovereignXI alright,thanks man.

  • Jeeze I feel sorry for old mate who's resting the gun on his shoulder. Poor bastard must be going deaf.

  • I didn't want be the guy holding the MG3 on the shoulder XD

    Nice video

    Perfect gun

  • why dont use all modern wachine guns that roller lock bolt mechanism ?

does it has some downsides then ?

  • my favorite gun. modernized mg42. happiness is measured by rounds per minute when it comes to lmgs :)

  • the MG3 is actually the modern version of the MG42

  • it is a weapon of operation 7

  • @lordcakedude75 "Merkel's buzzsaw"

  • @lordcakedude75 "Merkel's buzzsaw"

  • cool handheld minigun

  • Wenn man bei dieser waffe noch ein etwa 2cm teil im inneren entfernt schießst das ding 2000schuß pro minute

  • i wounder what we should call this one, because "hitlers buzzsaw" is taken... how about the grim raper? it will rape your children and shoot your neiboors all at the same time!

  • 0:25 what an awesome excuse to use your buddy as a shield xD

  • i used this gun

  • LETS MOW DOWN SOME TOMMIES!!!

  • Even though this weapon was once used to gun down thousands of Americans, British, and Russians, it looks like a fine weapon.

  • @IslandThunder84 that was the mg42.

  • Oh neat.. I was a SAW gunner. and m240b gunner. I want to qualify with the mg3!

  • thought that is mg42

  • @alysSuh01 It s just the same weapon in essence. It has been renamed and is still in use to this day... not bad for a 70 year old machinegun.

  • @alysSuh01 play cod too much hmmm?

  • CAN'T AFFORD A BIPOD? IMPROVISATION MOTHER FUCKER!

  • It's mo wonder Germans have the highest standard of living. USA is still better.

  • Hey buddy, could you sit there for a sec? Just going to rest this gun next to your ear aaaaaaaand *BRRRAAAAAAAK*

  • @BahamutRhapsody it's like the on the outher person so the gun won't og flinging bullits every where if you read he disc/ it's operated by two people otoh the joke was just not to kill your joy

  • @BahamutRhapsody not only does he get busted eardrum from the rapid-fire but they'd also be pretty much a meat-shield for any returning fire.

  • @BahamutRhapsody yeah, what's that all about?

  • @BahamutRhapsody

its called the "jägerstellung" (hunter's position). fast and accurate shooting guaranteed half a meter above the ground

  • @BahamutRhapsody

That style was also used during ww2. I think it was for quick step-ups when ambushed or something.

  • @BahamutRhapsody haha, that indeed remembers me black hawk down, 'soldier 1:now you cover that side soldier2: whaat?'

  • makes me wanna use this gun like the mg42, a badass laser"

  • I wanna walk into a bank with that thing and be like " Give me all the money in the register or imma FILL YE FULL O' LEAD" lol

  • germans lost the first world war...and second world war....and they still are the best military power from europe ....

  • @acvaticlifE Well the reason for that is in both wars they got dp'd.

  • Beautiful.

  • Beutiful.

  • Fine example of German quality

  • I think the MG3 still will strike fear into those facing the wrong side of the barrel

  • 0:30 WHAT THE #^%@ IS THAT

  • @TheKrzysiek303

Using his shoulder to stabilize the gun.... smart. He's going to be deaf in that ear sooner or later.

  • @superstormj

They try to avoid shooting like that. But if the situation affords that... better being deaf than dead.

  • o:30 LOL

     WHAT THE @#!# IS THAT

  • 0:29 wtf?!! that guy must be deaf

  • Love the MG3. I would take a MG3 over a 240B.

  • @762gunr

Mg3 is pretty tight. M240s are pretty sweet aswell.

  • The Jews wanted to toture the remaning Nazis and make them cry, so they took their best Machine gun design and downgraded it from the manly 8mm round, to the homo 7.62 round. LoL! Just kidding! Seriously though, I'm not hating on the .308, I just think in comparison to the alpha male 8mm Mauser, .308 is for homo's.

  • @ballisstix

It's Mauser 7,92 x 57 mm. After all it's the gun that kicks ass not the kaliber. Although 7,92 is nicer for a machine gun it sucked in an automatic rifle if you are not a specialist like WWII german paratroopers (look for fg42 Fallschirmjägergewehr 42). So they developed the 7,92 x 33 mm called "7,92 kurz" (kurz=short) for the MP44 the first "real" assault rifle. Although feared as a foe and welcome as booty. Excuse my bad english.

  • @foiafrey I don't need a history lesson bro. I know why they shortened the 8mm for the "Assualt Rifle". Smaller frame means a need for a smaller bullet to keep control.

  • @ballisstix

But 7,62 mm is quite ok too ;-)

  • @foiafrey And I know that it's called 7.92. Most people just call it 8mm or 8 x 57.

  • @bjoerneklett "stopfen!"

  • abgefeuert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • best sharing .. Add my favorite and Turkish army's use the machine gun mg3.

  • Great gun, but it's weight prevented Nazi infantry, organized around this gun, from keeping up during rapid advances in open ground. The Soviets exploited this by rapidly retreating into fire-sacks until the MG42s were left behind, and then attacked in massed wave attacks which overwhelmed bolt action Mausers pathetic ROF. This led directly to the creation & fielding of the first assault rifle, on the Russian Front, and 1 yr too late.

  • dunno why most ppl call everyone who fight against coalition forces terrorists.... theres a word for it and its INSURGENTS or rebels or if u really want u can say freedom fighters :). Taliban or taleban (depends witch side of the pond u are) arent terrorists.

  • @dcoutput Many of what you call freedom fighters are using car bombs and other methods to attack the civilian population of these countries. Terrorism in my book. Of course not all of them are terrorists but at least a small portion of them are.

  • @minchmad He isn't calling anyone a freedom fighter, read his post with a more neutral point of view.

Al dcoutput is saying is that the Taliban guys we're fighting aren't the ones throwing on suicide vests and walking into schools. They're fighting us directly.

    Insurgents = Taliban

    Terrorists = Al Qaeda

But Al Qaeda are not all Taliban, and vice versa.

  • @RLtW88 Im not sure if the Arabs support the Al Qaeda or not..but most arabs,Afgan particularly dislike Taliban.

  • mg3 is known as "the blake snake"..but beside it has got negative sides, too such as getting disformed after shooting one set of amunition.

  • Nice Video, the MG 34/42 is an excellent (MG) as is the (MG3), but it's meant for tanks & fixed positions, not infantry roles as the soldiers have a 3 man squad with gunner, shoulder-pod, and ammo-feeder. If I had my mother's and father's billions of dollars to open-up my own industry, I would revise the MG 34/42 & MG3 with a shorter barrel, picatinny-rails on the bottom-sides-top to mount optics & fore-grip, & then change the belt-feeding with a ammo-box, making it a 1 man weapon instead of 3.

  • wat the fuck :50

  • i feel sorry for the dude who has to mount the end of the gun on his sholder... probably deff now

  • @turkishmujahid he probably fired a 7.92 MG34

  • Germans are military masterminds and great weapon makers. They invented the assault rifle, submachine gun, intterupter gear, HEAT and HESH rounds, the universal SAW, and even (and I shit you not) pointed bullets

  • @DeustchBaggery You forgot the G11 with it's caseless ammunition!

  • @VpR81 oh yea. well, it wasnt practical. But it was a first as well!

  • @DeustchBaggery The last (G11K2) prototypes worked fine and were tested by the german army in '89 and by the americans during their ACR program in '90. It proved to be very accurate, reliable and comfortable to handle. The program was canceled by the german govt. because of lack of fundings after the german reunification.

  • @DeustchBaggery

    I agree my German brother!!!

Not to mention 98% of everything else in this world that we Germans created and the world stole and plagiarized, including over 10,000 patents by the Allies after WW2 and slapped their flag on and called it Russian, English, American, etc; inc) the Stealth Bomber, television, Rayon-Nylon fabric, Camoflage, Night-Vision & (NV) Optics, Jet fighter, ICBM missile, NASA, Rockets, the Atom bomb, ballistic vest {I have a Pic of Hitler in his}.

  • @GermanAmericanBunder oh yeah I almost forgot Germans made the first jet powered airplane. Isn't it called the Messerschmit 262?

  • @burritowrap

Not only that, but we Germans created the American K-12 education system, welfare system, social programs, also, the [Schwinn Bicycle Company] is German founded by German Ignaz Schwinn (1860–1945) Hardheim, Baden Germany. Also the Porcelain dolls, teddy-bear stuffed-animal, and famed "Barbie" doll are all German ingenuity brought to America by us Germans.

    .

  • @burritowrap

Yeah, the first jet was the German (Messerschmitt ME 262), although I think they had previous models in testing of Jet models, but would have to scour my folder archives to look all the designs up. Hitler also had the first heavy long range bomber, that would've been 2 times the size of the later (B29 Superfortress) called the "Euro Bomber" but Hitler being the peace loving man and too Liberal, left it on the drawing table, even though he had the technology to produce it.

  • @burritowrap

The majority of the shit us Germans created, is still unknown because the Allies stole 10's of thousands of German/(NS) patents after the war, including all of Germany's state of the art industry from the Ruhr, etc; which went to Poland, England, France, America, etc. The Queen of England still to this day, is living-ti-up on H.Goering's family yacht that they pillaged. Germans were the first to invent the Nylon-Rayon fabric that makes our very clothes today,

  • @burritowrap and got us off dependency on cotton based products, which if continued we would've been wearing leaves and brush as clothes, with the great depression and the seasonal-drouts that devastated our crops, etc.

And if you believe in such hocus-pocus, some even speculate that us Germans/NS were the first to create/reverse-engineer (UFO's) out of Alien technology which the Americans and Soviets stole, and created the (Aurora), etc.

But that's speculation and sci-fi at this point!!!

  • @MatthewTheManiac if the situation demands it ? :D

  • @Dbusdriver

The norwegian setup is 100 on the chain + 200 in the chestrig for the gunner, and 1000 in the backpack for his loader/aimer.

My experience is that you can manouver for some time, you just gotta reduce your bursts to 3, and slow them down a bit.

  • @ohexploitab1e

The browning 50 cal. would have been out of service long ago had'nt norwegians come up with the multi purpose ammo. ;)

  • 0:37 The ultimate in recoil operated Back scratchers... Now available at 1350 Rounds per minute!!!!

  • it's amazing that the almost-the-same design used in WW2 can still be used nowadays, with satisfying and competive results comparing with others

    german engineering owns

  • @kevincswong The M2 .50 Cal and M1911 pistol have been in service for almost a century and are still going strong.

  • bad company 2 fuck the world

  • yes, we trained that in german army, hochgebirgszug reichenhall, but we didnt shoot in standing position, bcoz that is useles, its just for fun b-coz u cant control in standing position, no way

  • @fraujim

Kommt ein bisschen auf den Schützen 1 an. Wenn der über zwei Zentner hat, davon die Hälfte Muskeln, dann macht das MG beim Stehendschießen schon, was er will. :-D

  • I still believe the MG-3 is the best .30 cal machinegun, PERIOD! It weighs roughly as much as the M-60. The Only problem I have with the MG-3 is that you can't carry enough .30 cal ammo for it. It also fires dissintegrating links ammo like the M-60 but you would need several people to also carry ammo links; you couldn't carry enough ammo to make it worth it unless you were in a defensive position. Slow the rate of fire to 700 rpm and it would be PERFECT.

  • for za furher!!!!!

  • these guys are spanish soldiers right they look so cool vive de largo el ejército español

  • @lewisgunner1

So the Spaniards are now shouting German commands in German uniforms? ;-)

0:53 "Stopfen - entladen!" which means "Stop shooting - discharge" in German

    1:41 German flag on arm

2:18 "Versuchen, später zu schiessen!" - Try to shoot later!

    3:03 "Feuer!"

3:36 "Klar zum Gefecht!" - "Ready for action!"

    Any more evidence needed?

  • fine i was wrong but germans are good gun makers as long as they dont see any jews lol

  • @lewisgunner1

Why do Germans become bad gunmakers as soon as they see any jews?!

  • we should create clones or Send convicts to re-inact Omaha beach with MG3s and the ones that can reach to the end of the beach will shot since they didnt die :P

  • hmmm where have i seen this gun before??? HAHA

  • @TheMaxwell777

wrong; mg3 fires 7.62x51mm NATO in contrast to 7.92x57mm Mauser

Original models did not have sights readjusted to compensate for differing powder loads between the models, and the next few "patches" so to speak only added crude sights adjusted to the new properties. Today it's a fine piece of engineering, but not without teething issues.

  • krieg is die hölle aber der sound is geil!!!

  • Im assuming the mg3 is merely an mg42 with a slightly slower rate of fire to cut down on over heating and ammo waste and with more modern longer lasting parts

  • @metallicarules7

    i think the mg42 has 1500 rpm and the mg3 1200.

  • @iamamenlala

Klar, die Kadenz kann man aber beim MG 3 waffenmechanisch recht leicht aufmotzen, das ist nur "runtergeregelt". ;-)

  • @metallicarules7 Yeah.

  • MG3 is a great weapon, the one i fired was from 1967 and still working great. Still Germans manufacture the best weapons in the world.

  • @Telonelemon3 sorry to say but the HK21E is a true 3 round burst fire mg if you want to check my info world.guns.ru/machine/mg18-e.htm

  • Sounds just like the MG42 :)

  • MG3 was merely a modified Mg42 after world war 2

  • it is the MG42

  • is burst fire?

  • @1neutralizator The is no such thing as a burst fire machine gun...

  • very bad machine gun it jamms many times because of the dust that gets between the rounds and then you needed to clean them all again my uncle used the mg3 during his service he was kommando in turkiyefor 25 years fighting pkk terrorists he would fire 10-15 rounds he say and the gun jammed if there was much dust in the air pkk used russian machine guns bought from iraq they would never jamm i don't know wich name of the russian machine gun is but my it was in 1992

  • @TurkishMujahid this is one of the most reliable mg's in the world idk wat ur uncle was shooting but if it was an mg3 he obviously was doing a shitty job plus its belt fed most times so i bet he wasnt letting the rounds slip through his hands its been torture tested and very few jams so idk wtf he did 2 it

  • the norwegians adapted it after the germans invaded norway 9.april 1940

  • This gun has a very high rate of fire

  • 2:05

  • Gotta love that meat shield @ 0:50

  • @ericunderscores Great way to go def too. For fuckin stupid...

  • Comment removed

  • This is a truly great weapon. Easy to handle, light and fire 1200 rpm the only drawback I remember from my time in the military was the amount of ammunition you liked to drag around to feed this mother fucker. You got big boxes of 500 rounds and you just liked to have as many as possible but they where heavy so 1000 rounds was a fare load.

  • Ups. fair ...not fare.

  • @allanchrist didnt the mg3 also hae jaming problem ? i think they shouldve just stuck with the mg42, worked pretty good in ww2, and it would still get the job done today

  • @SuperMachinegunner

It's the same weapon, stupid, they just rechambered it for NATO 7.62mm, and called it the MG2.

They then added the AA sights and called it the MG3.

  • @KillaHaakon diffrent caliber, rate of fire, relaibility, year of make, its not the same gun. ive seen the mg42 and the mg3 upclose and fired both of them, trust me, it aint the same gun

  • @SuperMachinegunner The only gun on par with this would be the FN MAG58.

  • @bluecollarcanuck dont think i know that one

  • @SuperMachinegunner It's otherwise known as the M240 by the US, or GPMG or C-6 in Canada. 7.62mm NATO, similar internal design, a bit blockier & heavier- looking than the MG3. Adjustable gas block, so the rate of fire goes from between 400- 950 rounds/min.

  • @bluecollarcanuck ah yes, the m240, never liked that one to mutch, i prefer the m249, had that thing a few times in training exercises. i personally think the m240 is butt ugly

  • @SuperMachinegunner It sure is, (Heavy bastard, too, I had to carry it on my final field exercise for Basic training). It's accurate as hell, though, and gets the job done. I like the -249 myself. They've come up with some neat configurations for it for SpecOps missions.

  • @bluecollarcanuck i never had the spec ops stuff, havnt held it since basic training.

  • @SuperMachinegunner No we had no problems with jaming of the gun. (being in the Danish royal lifeguard it was always very well maintained)

  • @allanchrist wich gun you mean ?

  • 0:38 That's not loud at all.

  • Germans were ahead of their time with the ww2 tech so much so that the Americans took components and design parts from the MG42 to make their M60

  • Not just the MG42, Russia & American raped Germany of every technical advancement they made!

Rocket, car engine, jet, electronics, optics and medical technology is just a small list of what was pillaged from them!

  • @303round thy took the german mg42 and the german fg 42, thats what the m60 was made of

  • Looks like a MG42

  • im guessing you didnt read the discription, lol.

its a modern version of the mg42

  • thats becuse it nearly is they just changes a few of the components:)

  • Did you see that?! It's a magical machine gun!

  • طلعت نفسيتي

    هههههههههههههههههه

    تذكرت المشروع الليلي

  • Now we can create Omaha beach but with terrorist and win, hooray for Germany!

  • @X9000BulletsX I hope you know the taliban arent terrorists.

  • @X9000BulletsX

    Shamylan: What a twist!

  • @random12986 HOW THE FUCK DID YOU KNO!

  • cant beat the classic's thats why they upgrade um ha

  • I would not put the barrel of that thing anywhere near my face.

  • I got your mom at home.

  • I dident know you could use a soldier, not only has a soldier, but also as a bipod.
