I love these voices!! I discovered my passion for this kind of Chinese opera by coincidence (I already had a passion for western opera) after I visited one performance while staying in Shanghai for work! Cant wait to go back and buy more DVDs but hard to find because most of it is Beijing opera (which i dont like so much) and even the big shops in Shanghai didnt have a really big choice for this type of Chinese opera. Unfortunately!

this is called yueju 越剧 = Shaoxing-Opera.
this is not the same as yue 粤, cantonese.

this kind of opera don`t come from Guangdong，it`s from Zhejiang province and Shanghai
