  • @Snake1045

The Blues Brothers are an American blues and soul band founded in 1978 by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd (Elwood Blues) and John Belushi ("Jake" Blues).

  • @Snake1045 They were formed in 78 as a musical guest on SNL. From there they did an album, and eventually the movie in 1980.

  • @Snake1045 simply , this is not part of the movie :D it's live before they made the movie

the music AND gave it a new popularity!!! thanks JAKE and ELWOOD!!!

  • @TheQ97 The All time best selling Blues album is the Blues Brothers Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

  • @crabbigail2007 wrong my friend, the "best selling" blues album was "Briefcase Full Of Blues", Their first record

  • @DeanHeuke Do you have figures to show ....well not proof, we dont need to win a court case hear ..to validate your claim? I have sources, unfortunately no figures just industry confirmation and I refuse to list names. This is a great vid, isnt it?

Also I think the Briefcase Album - LP- was inferior due to a few lackluster tracks dragging the rest of the album down. Take care
