  • And he strikes again!

  • I'm sorry, WHAT?!

  • @Samuelwhatshisface this video explains the basics of the "theory" of big bang. it says that everything expanded from a singularity. a singularity has no size, it is thus nothing. this means that the big bang theory says that the universe was created by nothing and lots of time. it's very ridiculous as you see.

if you've heard about it in school, they try to make it sound probable, but this is the embarassing truth about the big bang. sorry if you believed in that "theory" (translation: fable)

  • @watergaia How are you defining "nothing"? In that case, a neutrino isn't far from being classed as 'nothing', regardless of it's small mass.

If you'd have paid attention in school, you'd know there's more to it than that, and if you'd done your own research (Eric Hovind does NOT count as a source), you'd know there are a great many hypotheses, each with their own credibility and evidence, regarding the big bang and it's initiation...

  • @watergaia ... Case in point, Lawrence Krauss and Stephen Hawking both support the hypothesis that the total energy of the universe is 0, but due to what's known as the uncertainty principle (derived from first principles, I might add), the energy of a system cannot be certain. If a non-zero energy existed among what was initially 0, then only a system which would allow such fluctuations could exist, and that system must have 0 energy as a mean, or else the conservation of energy is violated.

  • @Samuelwhatshisface yes, but it's foolish to think that everything came from nothing... because there is nothing in nothing and nothing comes from nothing, but that's why the bible says that atheists would make themselves morons when they started believing in this evolution theory, and they wouldn't understand how moronic the theories are anymore, and it's hard to make them realize it. i mean seriously... everything came from nothing?

  • and if u think thats how the universe started U R A MORON

  • someone needs to charge Kent Hovind with child abuse. This what happens when you teach kids about religion.

  • Ok quick question what if the event that sprung your existence wan not a BIG BANG but rather a diffusion of a different event. I think that if one thing is plausible then until proven you can't deny something else equal to the first.

  • Luckily, the truth of the theory of evolution does not depend on how much you "dislike" it.

  • Oh gosh i hope these videos get removed sooner than last time

  • Wow this video just plain sucks! Your understanding of cosmology in your description is laughable. I can't believe people continue to post this complete and utter garbage. ERIC HOVIND = KENT HOVIND with the same garbage but now in HD!

  • Why do you ask people to down vote? Are you really that stupid as to not know they are rating your VIDEO not Evolutionary Theory?

  • @aarlin81 most people think this is a good video, they have just voted down because of the annotation i put which says that they should vote down if they dislike the theory of evolution

  • @watergaia What a wonderfully delusional assertion. Make a claim that you can't back up. The video has 7 down votes and the MAJORITY of comments are negative in regards to your video. OH EVIDENCE FTW!!!

  • @watergaia I voted it dowm because it has a Hovind in it. Hovinds are a disease.

  • @watergaia HAHAHAHA That's great. So, if we think the video is hogwash (and it is), we should ... Oh wait. There is no option for that. We vote it up, because we like the video. We vote it down because we dislike evolution.

I see what you did there. I hope everyone else does too.

  • @watergaia

I say most poeple think this is a utterly bad video, and they voted it down couse they don't support the message given in it.

  • @twentyinchsoul the message is entirely correct though, because that is what the big bang theory says, even though it's a bit simplified in this video

  • @watergaia

Hm no, the message is completely wrong, because thats not what the big bang theory says. And that's why people rate it down.

  • Thank you for this demonstration of the Hovind's ignorance. How can anyone with even a basic understanding of science take these guys seriously? The masses that follow this should be angry that they're being fed such ignorance, and ashamed that they believe it. I thought christians are supposed to be honest.

  • I thumbs downed it but I really liked it.

  • Is that supposed to be a universe? It's just a bunch of random floating balls.

  • It's still funny, even though some people actually believes his representation is correct.

  • All you need to make a universe is a spontaneously appearing superbeing with a mind powerful enough to make time & matter out of errrrr... nothing!

That sure beats the big bang making something out of errrr..... nothing??

This video is dreadful. No scientist says this is a perfectly balanced and ordered universe.

Surely this is what creationists say, A god-made perfectly balanced universe, made just for us out of nothing?!

  • @Wordavee1 the universe is pretty much perfectly balanced. google for fine-tuning argument. if gravity for example was slightly too strong, the universe would not exist, planets would have fallen into the center of galaxies, etc. and if it was slightly too weak it wouldn't work either.

i don't know exactly how god created the universe, but i admit this belief rests on my faith. the problem is that evolutionists don't admit their religion (evolution) is a belief.

  • @watergaia

"perfectly balanced"?? In what way? Astronomy shows us that there is still vast turmoil in the universe, supernova exploding, whole galaxies turning & expanding.

The "fine tune" argument is like saying "I'll never win the lottery" yet people win every week, we are "universe lottery" winners.

Faith is "belief without evidence". There is plenty of evidence for the "big bang" & for evolution, just don't look to Hovind or Answers in Genesis to provide it, find a real source.

  • @Wordavee1 there is no evidence that the creation of the universe works like a lottery, that the universe would have several chances of getting everything right if it randomly exploded or expanded into being.

  • @watergaia

There is some, though I'm not the one to explain it. But,it seems even less likely that an entity who came from nothing, created a universe from nothing, then made beings with desires & urges they could not control, then made rules which forbade them to give in to those urges, then made a place which would ETERNALLY punish those beings who did give in, or who didn't believe in"his" existence, & who only gave a collection of writings by humans as a proof of his existence. Lottery??

  • @watergaia

Also. Never mind how god could have created the universe, the very big question is, where did god come from?

You get answers from theists saying, "God has no beginning and no end." "God is even beyond eternity" but these are NOT answers, they are cop-outs.

When the bible was written, the Universe to the people of the day was the sun, planets & stars fixed to a canopy in the sky, now we know how vast it is, this makes the god of the bible very VERY unlikely.

  • @watergaia you should know better by now that evolution is a theory about how life diversified. No matter how many times the Hovinds repeat it, the beginning of the universe has nothing to do with the theory of evolution. Google it

  • @TheLittleDonkey big bang is part of the theory of evolution. it's called cosmic evolution. google it. the biological theory of evolution is also related to cosmic evolution, because cosmic evolution was also invented as a theory that tries to explain the world without god.

  • @watergaia No! That's just something Kent Hovind made up (and now repeated by Eric). There is no theory of cosmic evolution, there is no theory of chemical evolution. Science have no idea how the universe got started, or where it all came from. It's perfectly fine for you to reject the ideas about the origin of the universe, big bang, or the age of the earth, or the theory of evolution. Just stop calling it all "evolution". Please

  • @watergaia Just because something involves natural change doesn't mean it's part of evolution. If you're going to argue against atheism just say that's what you're arguing against. You don't need to redefine terms.

  • @watergaia Cosmic evolution is a term coined by Creationist. Anyone that spews such nonsense is advertising their stupidity and ignorance.
