Honestly I LOVE the xbox 360 controller, I have a newer black one (not really a difference). The onlly problem I have with PS3 is the R2 and L2 "triggers". I wish they would keep the buttons like the PS2. As far as online gameplay, PS3 has good graphics, Xbox 360 has a good layout. I am a fan of both systems. :D

Can someone please tell me how in the world this is similar to the Dreamcast controller? I have both (and I know he does, too) but they feel so radically different to me that I'm baffled as to how he could have possibly come to that conclusion. They're not even shaped similarly.

Personally I think the Xbox 360 controller is much more comfortable and easier to move my hands around. The Dreamcast controller is fine in the default position, but doesn't allows my hands to travel much beyond that.

no it comes down to personal preference but statistically the ps3 is better for shooters. Due to the thumbsticks and the analouge stick layout, also the d-pad is undoubtably better on ps3. Im not a ps3 fanboy just stating facts.

Thumb sticks should always be in this layout, I tried to play what looked like World at War in HMV a few days ago with a PS3 controller, and it just didn't feel right, and why shoot was R1 and not R2 I do not know.

The 360 controller is nearly perfect in every way...except the D-Pad. Which is SO bad, that it makes a 3rd party cheap controller's D-Pad seem terrific. Its the anti-Saturn D-Pad...which is awesome. If you've ever played fighting games, especially 2D ones on the 360 compared to a Saturn. You should understand this very well. But the rest of the controller for most things is damn near perfect.

I can't believe how such a little change with the way the Joy Sticks are placed and how it had triggers with bumpers above it instead of the way PS2/3 had it.
