I been use an ac 50 in a 20 gal with 12 golfish and is the best filter i ever have is quiet ,0 amonia the water is clear and no bad odors.

I wanted to have the bio wheel but then I would have to drive all the way to Kitchener for that. So it's going to be just a waste of gas

i use 1 penguin 330 biowheel and 1 penguin 200 biowheel and 1 lustar hydro 4 sponge with pwoer head. Really nice

That looks like the basic amonnia remover bag media, The biomax is usaully cylander in shape... I have the 110 and the 20 for my saltwater tank, they work like a charm how about you?
