Actually, a pentagram would fit with the image of a fallen angel. A pentagram simply represents the physical over the spiritual, a pentacle is the opposite, the spiritual over the physical. No a pentagram isn't really CXS, but it fits the song.

No the pentacle is the normal looking star, the PENTAGRAM is the upside down star which many people use for satanism and is supposed to resemble the goat

that would be the common misconception, but a pentacle is a star, no matter if it's up or down, as is a pentagram. the name pentagram is just more commonly associated with the upside down star, which you are correct in that it represents a goat head, specifically shub-niggurath. and the term pentacle is typically more commonly used to refer to the right side up stars which are used in witchcraft. but overall they both have the same meaning.

I think it would be safe to disagree with that statement when you consider that CXS has put out songs such as Aten-Ra (Egyptian God), Jackel-head (a reference to Anubis, another Egyptian God, as well as several other Egyptian Gods mentioned in the song), and Prometheus (Greek, Titan/son of a Titan). So while CXS may be a prodominately Christian band, I think it's safe to say that at the very least Rogue is open-minded enough to not let an offcenter Pentacle bother him.
