i thought the song was about how ironic love feels. you hate love and yet you miss it so much. you think its this and that but you long for it. its a good song. probably silverchair's best.

I agree that this is one of Silverchair's best. But "Ana's Song" really hit me hard. I don't know if it's because I'm going through the same thing or if it's just the courage he had to overcome it, but I think that's one of, if not the best.

I think it can be interepreted as a love song, not to a perticular person, but he says he misses the feeling of being loved. The lyrics remind me of a teenager who feels let down by love, who's afraid of putting his trust in another person again. I really don't understand the video clip though. it just doesnt make any sense...
