@XtremeRealityCheck the reason he doesn't address those sort of experiences is because the only eye witness is yourself or whoever else saw it. many different studies have shown that the human brain isn't always the most reliable source for memories. many people remember things differently after a few years. (the vlogbrothers did a video about this.) which leads me to this: ever wonder why eye witness statement isn't enough to convict a criminal?

There's only 2 times in my entire life that I have truly seen something that wasn't their, and that vision only lasted for a a second or two, if that. It is not at all very relevant arguement to blame ghost sightings on, "oh your brain is just playing tricks on you". Our brains interpret things correctly about 99.999% of the time correctly (or more) as far as vision goes, and as far as sounds go; I've NEVER heard something (while sober) that wasn't their.

i think youtube is full of hoaxes now under paranormal videos i think 99.9% are fake, the thing is i know ghosts and the paranormal are genuine i myself have something like this going on but i can't prove it. what pisses me off the most is people who i have subbed to who have in the past had what i thought then were genuine paranormal videos have suddenly started posting fakes because their other videos were successful and they turn into morons trying to prove their genuine, fuckin annoying!

I agree to a great extent, but there are several experiences that you do not address. For instance, I saw a man in overalls walk into my room and bend over my bed. He had white hair and looked right at me, then walked into disappearance. That was not a bug or a tree shadow. There are many life experiences within the multi-dimensional universe of energy... and you are over-simplifying by ignoring the data that doesn't fit your theory.

unfortunately you claim you were in bed. assuming since he bent over and looked right at you you were sleeping, or about to. its amazing just how many of these experiences happen during sleep, or sleep paralysis as it is diagnosed. you MAY have seen it, however most are very accredited to this diagnosis. people have been abducted, seen ghosts, angels, demons, and even jesus in this state. however, due to this, these such experiences can not be trusted, period.

I know I'm about 2 years late, but I just want to say this. He's not trying to debunk ghosts in general, he's just trying to help us identify fake evidence, so we can better recognize real evidence, if such evidence does exist. You don't need to be so defensive. Just because he's showing us how a shadow or a few photoshopped pictures of a guy under a white sheet could be false evidence of a ghost doesn't mean he's trying to say ghosts don't exist.

It's not that ghosts cast a shadow, they (in theory) are the shadow. A better way to say what's seen is a Transparent Black Mass, but "shadow" is easier to say. Most of these TBM's are tricks of the eye. A lot of first-timers jump to the conclusion of ghost without investigating further. ALWAYS dig deeper when you see a shadow. Think beyond ghost.

I've lived in some very old houses and have had some auditory experiences that I couldn't explain, but due to lack of an explanation, i certainly won't just apply some sort of supernatural one. It just means it's unexplained. Considering video and audio creation/editing capabilities of the general public these days, it's foolish to take any of these paranormal groups seriously.  Like bigfoot, ufos, santa claus etc., there's nothing proven to exist. Thanks for the healthy dose of reality.

As a former hunter waking up in the dark...everything looked like a possible deer... My point is things happened recorded with just myself in the room. Is the device picking up cell phones, is the brain interpreting those waves. EMF has not been proven yet to cause symptoms but I believe do.. You should do an explaination of the apparitions caught on video from the cameras used in Ghost Adventures. I've seen plenty of great examples of footage that is begging to be debunked. Most notably is the infamous footage from Ghost Adventures that is supposedly THE definitive proof of Ghosts. The footage was taken in Vigina City (I think) and shows a translucent figure walking in such a way that I can't figure out how it could've been faked
