Yeah, the ones that were released for the N64,GC and Wii were on my radar but ultimately just versions of Pokemon Stadium.

All hardly capture the fun of the handheld versions. The fun perspective in 2-D is starting to die, they can only make it so much more shinier before they have to branch into full 3-D.

I don't believe that the fun is in the 2-D perspective and no the games released on the Wii etc aren't enough because, as I said, they are just flashy versions of Stadium.

There's no doubt about it that a proper Pokemon game for the Wii would sell very well. In my mind I can see it looking similar to Super Smash Bros:Brawl, it's totally doable (my god it is SO doable). I'd love to see a little bit more freedom, though, once the set path is done there should be more to do.

We are seeing bits of this in Platinum but not enough.

They can also keep the GB games as they are as to not upset anyone.

I think turn based wouldn't really work, I'm thinking more along the lines of being able to take control of a Pokemon you send out. Thus you will be able to emulate the Anime more, thinking more on your feet.

That's a problem many games have, AI sucking to an extreme extent...sometimes your ally does nothing or gets themselves killed or your enemy is way overpowered and cheats!

There is no doubt it would rock but it's completely doable. I say stop focusing on the krappy Wii Fit series and get your arse into gear Nintendo! Give us, your fans who got you through those tough times, a proper volley of games we can be proud of!

Or at least a fully 3-D Pokemon game! And not a Stadium port!
