I vote for either R-Type III: The Third Lightning or Ikari Warriors. R-Type is just fun and Ikari seems like an interesting run and gun. Whatever the next game is, it is sure to be awesome.

Hey LordKat, I don't have time to look through these posts to check if someone else has said it but you should try out Bloodwings: Pumpkinheads Revenge. Spoony had a mental breakdown because of it, sounds like its right up your alley.

Loved this review, since it's on one of my favorite NES games... and yeah, I did beat it as a kid. You did a marvelous job, as usual. A couple of things though: - The scrolls are actually in the third level... it's in one of the buildings to the south, across a bridge if I remember correctly. If you want, I can pin point where it is. They are INVALUABLE in the last stage. - You can rescue turtles from stage 3 on up.

- Also, a little tip, though you probably already know it. You can share boomarangs between all the turtles. Toss three of them as one turtle, then quickly switch to another one before they come back. Repeat as much as you want.

Eh, that's it. Oh and for those guys wondering about the whole Splinter as a rat/human thing, well, in the first cartoon, he was a human that was turned into a rat. In the original comics he was always a rat. I was more of a fan of the comics, incidentally.

I think the thing that pissed me off the most was the first time I got up to shredder and forgot to move. When that happened to me as a kid (I usually teamed up with my older brothers who were much better than me in games at the time which was the only reason why I was able to get up to him as a kid), I nearly broke my NES in half.

As for finding the technodrome, I had no idea that there was some special pattern to find it. I usually just went into sewers/caves until I found it basically.

And yeah, I remember that time when you got up to Shredder and got killed. Man, you were pissed...

So i heard your transmission awesome episode where you announced you were going to start doing a series of UWW rpgs. After you get done with ff12 maybe you could tackle one of the hardest RPG's i've ever played. That would be 7th saga for the SNES. why did splinter turn into a human. All the cartoons(3 in total) and the films say that he was a rat to start with who was the pet as a ninja...guy and was mutated by the ozze that mutaited the turles.

What for Cartoons did you watch? The one from 1987 (Teenage Mutant Ninja/Hero Turtles) even shows in the intro how Ninja Master Splinter cam in contact with that.. slime? Ooze? Whatever, and changed into a Human-Rat..

the mor modan day ones. I was a little late for the turtle fad when i was younger. But the most resand versions. All 4 movies, the remake of the original, Fast forward and i know there was another small one but i can't remmebrt the name of it now.

But in the more recent ones he was a rat from the beginning who had some karate owner he learned his skills from.

@Elyanley In the beginning, Kat says the game is based on the comics. In the comics, Splinter was actually a rat who trained in his cage by looking at his master who was a ninja. He later was mutated like the turtles.

I was never aware that in the original cartoons, he was a human first.

splinter turns back human? i know depending on which story is being told splinter was either Hamato Yoshi or just his pet rat, but to have turn back human because they beat shredder is stupid, he was mutated not cursed.
