You're people have 50/50 of truth and lie: First you NME people should have a list of American Pop Music and another of British Pop music cause everybody knows that the american pop is basic and have poor lyrics (a few groups save of that) and the brit is more louder and have good lyrics always when is not a women band. Beyonce? Are you fucking kidding me? I used to turn to NME to keep me keyed in to what is great and what sucks. Beyonce is not even a good singer. Her lyrics are banal and as a musician with 20+ years of serious playing behind me . . . well, let's just say the music is on par with The Jonas Bros. Britain has the best rock music in the world - Beatles, Stones, Libertines, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Kinks, et cetera and yet The Strokes take top album (cool but not Pete & Carl cool) and Beyonce? WTF?
