yeah, I think it's probably a once every 10- 20 year occurance here sadly. : ( I've always wanted to see the northernlights, I check on the Planetary Kp-index from time to time but it hardly ever extends anywhere close to here.

just wondering. they are amazing to see in a picture. but would be wonderful to see it in person. some people say that if your like in northern alaska in a total quiet area you could hear a faint crackling sound the norther lights may produce.
