This would have taken place in ROTJ, and seeing as how we didnt meet the Ewoks until after the Sarlacc, this tells us he survived. Bam, no more argument, our hero is alive!
Seriously are there STILL people questioning if Boba Fett survived? Um...DUH! Of course he did; Lucas himself as official confirmed the matter and his escape from the Sarlacc has been made into canon. I don't care if you only follow the movies; if word of God says he survived he survived. Honestly, who wouldn't want Boba Fett to live? He's by far the series's most popular character. He's an important piece of fandom.
@googlexxxxxxx The Star Wars expanded universe books. They fill in the gaps between the movies and extend the story. It's all part of the same franchise and story line.
@bigfoot343 My bad Leland Chee stated that EU was canon, but seeing as Leland Chee is the "keeper of the holocron" aka the man in charge of the canon, EU is still Star Wars canon. Sadly, I know your type, you'll try to come back with some snappy remark about why I'm wrong and EU isn't canon, but any and all come-backs you may have will be irrelevant.
Er, Leland Chee did NOT say that. He made some statements which meant the OPPOSITE of that, but which were twisted by certain agenda-driven Warsies to mean whatever they wanted, since their egos are so out of whack that they can do mental gymnastics to protect themselves.
The Holocron only keeps NAMES straight between the EU and G-canon-- NOT abilities.
@SovereignStatesman Wow responding to a five month old comment are we? The Holocron contains G, T, C, S, and N canon. Anything that isn't N canon can be interpreted as a part of the Star Wars universe. The Star Wars universe is a fictional universe and should be seen as such. T, C, and S, canon contain G canon, but G canon does not always contain T, C, and S, canon. An example of Eu canon in a film would be Anakin's scar in Episode 3, which was given to him by Asajj Ventress an Eu Character .
No, anything that isn't G-canon, is NOT part of the G-canon universe-- i.e. the FILMS. Anakin could have fainted when Padme pierced his ear, and hit his chin on the toilet--- that's how Harrison Ford got the scar on his chin in "Working Girl," while in Indiana Jones he got it from an accident using a whip.
You don't know what what if it's not specifically mentioned. For example, Boba Bett's jetpack is shown corroded from Sarlacc-acid in Ep. VI, but still he never got out-- CANON!
@OberstBert I heard from Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett) that Boba Fett actually set up his own Night Club in the Sarlaac and that's where all the cool people hang out
@rancor022 It was used in the trilogy bloopers, but it comes from "Return of the Ewok". Search for Return of the Ewok and you'll find it. I think it's part 2.
It depends on someones perspective if something is considered as "real" or "fake"... This scene is taken out of a little documentary made for promoting the return of the jedi - in which Warwick Davis visits the whole Star Wars Studios as Wicket the Ewok. search for Star Wars - Return of the Ewok - Part 2 to see the full scene.
@Adeadlynacho ofc cos george lucas cut this shiet out.
He wanted BobaFett dead but after he made the movie he changed his mind for some reason and stated: BobaFett blasted him self out from the sarlec blablablabla.
Boba Fett never did die from the Sarlaac pit. It takes thousands of years to digest its food therefore Boba Fett managed to get out. I believe by blasting his way out. Its in one of the novels, I have yet to read it.
Put that scene back into the movie!!

Lucas has NO IDEA what is written in those books, so it's NOT CANON in the movie-universe-- just the expanded one.
