I am from Liberia but he is one of my favorite musician of all time - he is absolute magic. I saw him in LA in 1992 and it was like I went to heaven and met Jesus. His manager took me to his dressing room. He was very soft spoken and gentle. His music will last for generations to come. RIP Doc- we miss you!

The Igbos should immortalize music icons like Osadebe, Sr. Warrior, Oliver de Coque and Mike Ejeagha. The like of Tony Uchenna Ubesie deserves mention also for doing four wonderful novels in Igbo language. I guess there are a few others in other professions also. Those are great models not like our Igbo political class who have failed us woefully from the great Zik of Africa to Ohakim.

@edemgbako, Igbos are never quick to praise their people who have done well or who are doing well. But they are always quick to speak ill of you if you do evil. To immortalize these music icons Celetine Ukwu, Osita Osadebe, Sr. Warrior, Oliver de Coque and Mike Ejeagha, Nelly Uchendu and others suppose to be a must but they are busy doing politics, trading or kidnapping one another.

Sir Warrior and De Coque played quality Igbo music with the best tones. You look at it this way, you also look at it that way. Sir Warrior is a true singer. That makes his music flow beautifully. De Coque just "talks". Sir Warrior's singing pattern and elaborate guitar works are very brilliant. De Coque's voice and chorus style are also brilliant. I think the two are the best highlife musicians.

The Bus driver played this No from Abia State till we get to Lagos, Although people tried to hold back this Ugo Chinyerm at the Embassy, but God being faithful to his word showed great wonders from the 1st day till my final trip. When I think of Pluto, Aristotle and Cicero, I also think of Sir Warrior...he is a great philosopher....this man is really immortal. My friend diesel engine, ebubedike one of mbieri would always sit down with me to listen to sir warrior, back then in owerri, sir warrior's music never stopped being a good source of inspiration...even now 5000 miles away from home sir warrior's songs are ever brilliant and inspirational.
