SHIT, the holmesdale end is heavin, fuck being in the middle of that....

  • Ian Walsh was even better at Barnsley. Classy centre forward.

  • I was 14 and watching that again has brought tears to my eyes...The Arse,Man.u,Chelskis will never have it for me....Palace FOREVER !!

  • i'm a gooner but west hams record crowd is only 42,000 LMAO, palace's record crowd is 51,000, even fulham and millwall, QPR, millwall, and charlton have bigger record crowds than the "mighty" irons!

  • ha classic what defending

  • have to agree with the palace fans who were there that night god how many years i was behind the homesdale rd and on the pitch two f fanstatic night how i love the palace

    Those were the days !!!

    Bring back terracing.

    Palace til I die !!!

  • Still sends shivers down my spine when I see Walsh head the first goal - a long time coming but all the better for it. I have followed Palace since 1964 - I was there that night, and that game still ranks as tops.

  • I was there behind the holmsdale road end on the pitch at the end what a night

  • Brings back great memories 'get in there Doris'!

  • Great Stuff!

  • Was 8 years old and remember the night well and remember going on the pitch as well, great scenes and a great team.

Never get a crowd like that again.
