Iwas there that night behind the holmsdale, just remember at the final whistle being surged on to the pitch with the force of the crowd...Great days...UP THE PALACE !!!
i'm a gooner but west hams record crowd is only 42,000 LMAO, palace's record crowd is 51,000, even fulham and millwall, QPR, millwall, and charlton have bigger record crowds than the "mighty" irons!
have to agree with the palace fans who were there that night god how many years i was behind the homesdale rd and on the pitch two f fanstatic night how i love the palace
Still sends shivers down my spine when I see Walsh head the first goal - a long time coming but all the better for it. I have followed Palace since 1964 - I was there that night, and that game still ranks as tops.
Excellent - great night - great memories. That was first game and what a game for a 10 year old to experience. Where on earth did you manage to get this? I am truly impressed

I was there as a youngster in the Holmesdale, 23,000 in just that end. Class team class kit, the good old days before sky ruined everything.
