Hi ProfessorV, can you please answer this question?

Im Grade 5 at violin and im learning this study, but could you tell me what is the fingering for bar 2 and bar 6, cause I don't have it on my score for some weird reason. Thanks!

Hey professorV, i've been playing violin for a while and achieved grade 8 back in 09, but my sight reading is so poor that it has let me down to being the leader of the college orchestra. could you please give some advice on sight reading, or make a video with some tips about it? thanks. =D

hi professor, i really hope you can answer my question.. i have been playin the violin for about six months, i'm a noob XD but my quiestion is, how long does it take me to have a good intonation? cause even in first position i just cant to be in tone most of time and this is desapointed... thats why i wanna know,

Hi deathviolin247, do you know when you are out of tune, or does someone else tell you? If you know, you should be able to improve very quickly by learning to relax and gain control of your instrument. If you can't tell, you'll have to develop the awareness, which will take longer but can still be done. Work hard, but really work SMART. And try to stay relaxed in the process! Good luck.

Great video on string crossing, and very clear explanation.  As a fellow violinist, I'd definitely advocate practicing the way Todd suggests in this video- it's the most efficient practice method, in my opinion.

You should post a video on left hand pizzicato, like the last part of Zigeunerweisen or the 24th paginini caprice. I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Yay, #30. :-) I played this for my teacher tonight. She had some different suggestions regarding phrasing, but I hadn't thought of some of the fingering suggestions you had. I'll have to check those out. Thanks :)
