@Miblive Because they wanted the series to be sold to an American studio, obviously it never happened and thats exactly why the series ended when it did. All Anderson series tried to do that for the most part, the only series having any success in that was Fireball XL5 being aired on CBS in the US

I never got how the series ever finished. My mum was extremely thoughtful when the series was reaired...i think in the...80's? she taped them so her future children could have them...but i dont ever remember a finale. Same with captain Scarlet. Did thunderbirds ever confront The Hood?
