Great story, Gene. :) I remember my parents with those ties. My Dad would keep them for 20 yrs. and then they would come back in style .:) I'm actually from Massapequa, LI...Joey Buttefuccos town..hehe. When I was in the 6th grade we moved to the Poconos. I lived in NYC for a while after college. I have an Uncle who still lives in Westbury who was a talented baker. I'll have to ask him but Im pretty sure he worked at the Waldorf! Wouldnt it be something if he was there when you were!
